I had a heck of a time trying to start a new topic . After typing in the title of the thread , I would go to the box to type in my message . On 3 occasions a link from a previous post would be there and I had a heck of a time trying to get rid of it . After 3 edits , I finally got it done . That was weird !

Looking for a legal way to get rid of a Raccoon . I have one that comes around tearing up the bird feeders and messing with the garden . Trapping Season is Oct 25 - Feb 15 . All I see in the Regs Booklet is Trapping ... no hunting info . If there is something in the booklet ,other than trapping , I can't find it .

I used to hang my Practice Bow in the garage but it has been too hot lately . The garage seems to hold heat even with the roof vents . I keep the bow in the house in a plastic case .

The Temp is down to 75 degrees here .

A light drizzle here right now . If it would only keep it up until morning ....... oops , just heard the "rolling thunder" . I have a couple of pork butts in the smoker and have an umbrella over the top plus I put a plastic container over the heat / time digital control that was suggested in a video . I have had the meat in since about 8 am . It's looking good but only 140 degrees so far . When it gets to 160 I can take it out and tinfoil it and cook for another 3 hours or so . My wife bought a 8.8 pound pork shoulder and before putting it in the smoker , I had to cut it in half to be able to handle it . My arms smell like smoke .

I hadn't shot my bow in the basement over the winter months like I had done in the past . It has been quite hot out so I hadn't been shooting outside either . Yesterday afternoon I grabbed the bow and my bucket with arrows and went out back . Shot 3 series of 7 arrows each . Half way through I was pretty much okay . Something didn't look right and I thought , where is my string loop and the peep seemed different . Then it dawned on me that my hunting bow was in a case and I was shooting my 70# Parker Phoenix instead of my Ben Pearson TX-4 with the Moog string on it . Anyway , I plan to shoot at least 5 times a week until October 1st .
