When I was ready to pay for my purchases of gun powder and bullets, the cashier said, “Strip down, facing me.” Making a mental note to complain to the NRA about the gun control wackos running amok, I did just as she had instructed. When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to how I should place my credit card in the card reader. I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future. They need to make their instructions to seniors a little clearer….. Note to Mr VJP ---- It's a joke !

I gave my youngest son the K-Bar that I had while in the Marine Corps . It has to be over 56 years old . Great knife .

We get lake effect snow and it can pile fairly high on the garage roof . I have gone up and removed snow from the roof a few times over the years . Getting too old to do that now . A roof can be strong but snow weighs a lot especially when it gets wet .

I have a snow rake that doesn't work that well . Problem I have is when the snow hits the driveway from the roof , it packs and is difficult to remove even with the snow blower .

I signed it but have been told in the past that on-line petitions were not valid and pretty much meaningless ...................

Thanks for the offer . I have a snow blower but even so my back aches and I just felt weak . I had a Flu Shot in early January . I just feel like crap ! I cleared a neighbor's driveway 3 times this season as he had a heart operation . I didn't take care of his driveway today as I just felt too weak .

I havn't cleared my driveway yet . I think I might have the flu bug and I ache all over . I was up in the middle of the night and had fluid coming from both ends . I don't drink so nothing there . Gotta get the driveway done before it builds up any higher . It's 13 degree here in Ontario right now . Ccccccccold !

I made some venison chili for Super Bowl Sunday . I think I had too much . Maybe it was the corn bread ............ I don't care for either team but i'm pulling for the SeaHawks . Being a Buffalo Bills fan , I can't root for the Pats !

My oldest son sold his compound and went to a recurve and has been fairly successful with it . Matt has a Black Widow bow as well as a couple others . The recurves cost as much as compounds . He shoots heavy single bevel blades and makes his own arrows . He makes footed shafts with the cedar and then Rosewood or some other type wood on each end of the shaft . I am pretty sure he keeps his shots down to 15 - 20 yards . The shafts in the bottom left picture have a piece of antler in the self nock .

Use a camo tarp . She will never see it .........

Yeah , the truck plus 37 guns and 28 sets of deer antlers which included 11 shoulder mounts . That was a pretty good haul and had to be a bit costly .

A friend asked me about shooting deer in Tompkins County this time of year . I knew nothing about it and did some GOOGLING . I see that they have a special season to shoot anterless deer from the 2nd Saturday in January to January 31 using Deer Management Focus Area (DFMA) permits .
