    Most of the Store Clerks don't know the Rules / Regulations and are guessing at some things . An Associate at a DICKs store said that his understanding was that it would be necessary that you had to have a card showing that you had a gun registered in the caliber of the ammo you wished to purchase .     This is from a Moultrie . Batteries were changed the beginning of December and are at 77 percent now .

    I was talking to a new associate in the Webster DICKs today . I asked him about the ammo check and he wasn't sure what was going to happen . He thinks that when the checks start taking place that people will have to show that the gun they are buying ammo for is registered in the State .

    Just got off the phone with a friend who lives in Regina Saskatchewan. She said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly waist high and is still falling.. The temperature is 32 below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. Wind chill is -59.Her husband has done nothing but look through the kitchen window and just stare. She says that if it gets much worse, she may have to let the drunken SOB in.

    I see where the guy was charged with a Felony plus an additional charge .........

    It was a blistering 18 degrees here today . I was out for a few hours installing and removing Real Estate signs . Wasn't bad at all but I was dressed in layers . It was good to get outside .

    I used to get the walnuts for my mother . I would squish off the soft outer shell with a pair of RubberMaid gloves so I wouldn't get all stained up . They would get dried out and mom would crack them open on an old anvil then pick out the nut meat . I have her old picks now .
