    Hey Doc ...... on those WalMart Targets . They run about $17 each . Two years ago I bought 3 of them for $1.50 each at the Hudson ave WalMart in Irondiquoit . I love those CLEARANCE sales ! ;D ;D ;D

    I have seen some truck beds made out of pressure treated wood . I wonder how much a truck bed would cost at that parts place on Rt 104 just west of Slocum Road in Ontario .

    I nevertried bowfishing . Several years ago there used to be a guy that dressed in camo , wore sun glasses and bowfished off the overpass at Bear Creek Harbor here in Ontario where Bear Creek runs into Lake Ontario . No one seemed to know who he was .....They just referred to him as Rambo ! ;D .. ;D .. ;D

    Airguns will be legal this fall to hunt some small game in NYS .There was an article in last Sunday's Rochester D&C (7/4/10) . So shooting varmints in your back yard with an airgun has been illegal all along . No doubt the state expects folks with pellet pistols / rifles to be buying licenses in order to shoot troublesome squirrels that are around the house . The requirement is that the gun must exceed 600 fps .

    I have one of the Terrorist Hunting Decals . I almost put it on my vehicle but thought , someone had keyed my truck because they didn't like a decal . If I put the Terrorist License on my vehicle would I be met with a car bomb ? ??? .. ??? .. ???

    Actually , I prefer the orange carriers . I have arthritis in my fingers and the carriers make it easier to handle the primers . If there is an orange tad sticking out , you can be pretty well assured that the rifle is ready to fire . It works for me .

    I went to a muzzle loader (in-line) for more distance plus it's fun to shoot . I use my shotgun opening day of gun season and then the muzzle loader from then on .

    Well Bubba , i'm not inviting you to any more parties ! .. .. Maytom is here also . Not sure if WNYhunter made it or not . I kept checking the old site and don't know who owns it anymore . I can still do the Mod functions on there though .

    I can see the advantage of being real high in the tree ( no , not high by drinking or drugs ) but it also changes your shot angle . My youngest son has a treestand on the side of a hill that is over 20' up . The trail below is probably at least 10' lower than the base of his tree so he is shooting in excess of 30 feet than the trail. When you have that much of an angle , you have to visualize where you want the arrow to exit on the opposite side of the deer before you shoot .

    Like I said earlier , most of my stands are at least 15' high . I was tempted to try a climber but my son advised against it . I'll be 69 in September and had one knee replaced ..........

    Where are you in Wayne County ? I am from Ontario . We also have a Williamson and Walworth member so we have the Northwest part of Wayne Co covered ........ ;D
