  1. Thats an albino, not a piebald. Has a pink nose.
  2. I can take my bow out a week before the opener and shoot very tight groups, out to 20 yards, i dont practice to the extent I use to, family and professional obligations take priority. But then again, i will only take shots within 20. Im sure with a weekly practice regime I could increase my yardage, but I choose not to therefore I limit my effective range to a max of 20 yards.
  3. couple bears in one of my plots.
  4. R.I.P, one of best pitchers ever in the Mets franchise. Here's a recent picture of him (right) taken at his vineyards in Napa Valley. Picture taken with my sons baseball coach, younger brother John Franco. Two Met Icons, Seaver had that wicked stride and great mechanics, where his back knee pants were always dirty. Died way too young.
  5. That could get expensive...lol.
  6. All those arrows and not one robinhood, you guys are lame.
  7. Use my jet sled for deer , hauling fire wood, pick up grass clippings..etc.... has endless uses and is very durable.
  8. Tractor with a loader all day long, I've had many atvs, currently have a UTV and by far my Tractor is more versatile. Use my tractor for snow removal, food plotting, grading work, digging, dragging trees, hauling firewood.. etc, etc..
  9. Haha, well the roids reference was in regards to his body being one huge muscle and well the mellow reference is his very laid back demeanor, well that is until he needs to protect us and home.
  10. Thx. Hes an American Bully, thier lineage goes back to beginnings of the huge pitbulls crossed with a staffordshire terrier (his background consists of the razors edge and Mugleston lines). Basically hes a huge mellow pitbull on steroids...lol..i don't suspect he will get much bigger, but will continue to grow until he's two. He has already surpassed both his parents in weight, they were both close or right at 90lbs, my Hulk is 100lbs.
  11. I believe that's the norm for a rubber, but you really aren't suppose to see that much of it, most of that should have been hidden by a mound. When you rely mostly on city fields thats the kind of crap to expect. Thats why i prefer tournament play so much more because they typically are privately owned grounds.
  12. Yep that mound was brutal and seems to be the norm at most fields we toured from queens to Long Island . That mound had just a slight decline and even with that he was pounding the zone. They couldn't catch up to his fastball, most batters were swinging when the ball was already in the catchers mitt. Then he would paint the corners with that slider , it had wicked movement through out the zone and he would throw a breaking ball in the mix. I cant even imagine the velocity he would have gotten had he a nice downward flowing mound. This is in a wood bat league and we are playing up in a 16u division.
  13. My boy pitched first game of a double header today. Pitched a full 7 inning game , only gave up one hit, 14 strikeouts, we won 3-0. His slider was vicious.
  14. Nah...Louisvilles crack too easily, I like to keep a marrucci solid maple that my sons outgrew, always at the ready...lol..that man wouldn't have a chance if I let my 100lb. bully out the door... hope the cops nail that thief.
  15. Probably, both sides of the streets have cars double parked all over, thier parking lot is always full and the foot traffic going in and out of that place is unreal. Its not often that I eat outside there because its hard to get a table. I usually just order before hand and pickup. That place is a huge cash register. $$$
  16. Oh I dont blame ya, Joes makes some of the best around. I dont venture much to Joes because my parents make some of the best homemade Panelle sandwiches and riceballs,. Panelle, ricotta and graded cheese on a sesame seeded roll..so good... got me so hungry , gotta hit my mom up to make some panelle.
  17. Haha...my son just played a local game on Monday near 86th street and on my way home I picked up two squares from spumoni...i live 15 minutes from both Joe's and Spumoni. Being Joes is a Sicilian specialty eatery and I'm 100% Sicilian, yes I've picked up from Joe's more then a few times. Some good local eats right there. Problem is that Spumoni can be a mad house, always packed with people.
  18. Whatever works..before we had our camp (now we butcher everything at camp), we would haul 2 3, 4 deer to Brooklyn on the roof rack of my Chevy blazer. We would butcher them in my parents backyard. People don't realize but there are alot of hunters from the boros/city.
  19. Good luck, We came back from a PA tourney two weeks ago. Tomorrow I'm heading out to LI for a Baseball Factory showcase and Sunday a USABL tournament at Tom's River , NJ.
  20. Sorry Man with 4 kids, my time is all spoken for. Lucky I even have time to pee..lol..my 16yr. olds travel baseball, showcase and tournaments has my head spinning.
