  1. The video is being deleted. These two kids are such assholes. Now they are saying they were out of ammo and had no knife to dispatch the deer. This is in PA. One of the kids family owns a restaurant I hope it get boycotted. This video is going to end up on national TV it sucks for hunters that these two get their 15 minutes of fame<
  2. Roads conditions getting real bad. Heard highway was shut down in some areas. Take your time!
  3. Didn't find it. Went back in this morning found more blood and his bed. Stopped bleeding in his bed and moved on. So it goes..
  4. I play the 6 string. Used to play with my two brothers we had a ball. Don't play as much as I should but still pick it up every week for a few hours! Good luck on the gig!
  5. Should of said small cow! lol They pushed this deer into a 4 acre thicket. Going back this morning for a final try. Deer search didn't come from what I heard.
  6. Tracked him for a while had blood the whole way then it stopped. From what he told me deer search would be there by 6:30.
  7. Nephew just texted me he shot a buck of a lifetime. Hit it in the chest it ran for 200 yards. He backed out waiting for a few guys to help him track. Good blood said it was the size of a cow! We shall see......
  8. So I went to college at Saint John's and Plattsburgh state. We hunted up there and a local kid took me to a spot. From one side it was a hill but the other was an opening in the hillside. There were so many 50 gallon drums i couldn't count. We left and I never went back. I heard it was from the Air force base there. Weird but I'll let it go......
  9. Just an FYI on those seedlings. I got them in the spring and put them in plastic window boxes from Depot. Really good dirt and let them settle for a month or so then planted.
  10. Oh and she is a junior in college! Time goes by so fast plant them while you can!
  11. My favorite holiday! No presents just food and family and friends. And being 56 I remember watching the March of the wooden soldiers every year! As a kid it was spent at Grandmas house. We would walk in to Grandpa peeling potatoes! Now we start traditions with our kids! Have a great Thanksgiving!
  12. So lets talk about this years rut. In 8P we had a trickle rut does coming in and out not much chasing going on if you caught it. It was a late full moon and Charlie A says this will happen. Next year its an early full moon and a late opener so Bow Hunters might prevail. You say what?
  13. I planted with my daughter 11 years ago 250 white spruce. Most of them took. Some are over 12 feet tall. Beautiful trees. Good luck. All bought from the saratoga Nursery.
  14. To me it looked like a low shot maybe clipping the opposite front leg and maybe lower belly. Plenty of white hair.
  15. Full moon is Oct 31st. Going to be interesting.
  16. I know why I hunt but man this year I was not up to it. I just love it but wasn't feeling well or sleeping that much. What happens I get a nice 7 pt with the bow and a 9 pt two days later on the opener! Go figure just wished I could of enjoyed it more. We had a 4 month old and a 9 year old at camp this year it was the highlight!
  17. 11 bucks and a few doe taken by my place in Howard. Processor was real busy. I came in Sunday morning and was # 170
  18. Nice buck 9pt I took this morning at 9:30. Neighbor missed him twice but I didn't. Dropped in his tracks! Redish head and his bottom legs are piebald like even the claws.
