10/6 afternoon 70 cloudy saw nothing!

Blood was pretty red not pinkish. I think at some point I would of found more blood from him blowing it out his nose. Hope to see him on trail camera or best shoot him again this week.

This guy came in this morning. Too small but nice body and rack. Next year much better!

Morning hunt had a nice 6 pt come in and piss around my stand. I have video just can't upload. Looked again for 3 hrs for the other deer came up empty. Evening hunt was a bust. Too hot and windy!

In the end I think my shot was a bit forward and high. Entering above the shoulder but catching the other blade. No exit. The deer ran off and only when it stopped a few drips of blood cause the arrow is still in him. The angle was steep at 12 yards. I think that deer still has the arrow in him. He was a big boy but I don't know if he could live with the arrow like that. Sucks, it happens, I looked until exhaustion.

Hunted until 9 this morning. Got down looked for arrow again nothing. Went in directions I thought the deer could of went but didn't check yesterday. Nothing found. I stopped at 1:00. Meat is bad by now if the deer is dead. Hopefully its ok and only suffered a minor wound. Thanks Guys.

Went out at 3:30 today. I was beat after looking for that buck. Sat in my upper food plot stand and saw nothing. Windy but very nice out. I enjoyed the sit!

The deer turned and ran away from me. The more I think about it there was no unusual gate but tail was tucked.

Out again in the morning to look. Spent about 5 hrs today. Wish I could just find the arrow to tell the tail.

Nothing and I really looked hard. No hair at impact area also.

this morning big buck broadside 20 yards. Shot made an impact noise deer ran off. I look no blood hair or arrow. I look in the direction it ran only after a half hour i find 4 drops in one spot. I did not see the arrow enter the deer. A few of us looked for 4 hours nothing found. I'm a bit baffled on this. Maybe I just knicked it no hair loss little blood. Arrow buries in the ground. Deer stops for a few seconds and drops a little blood?

Cool morning and very quiet. Had some doe walk past at 7:30 then at 8:30 a big mature 8 walks up to my stand. Was to my right when I caught movement. He headed into the brush and i grunted at him. He turned and walked 20 yards from me broadside. Took the shot and all I heard was whack and the deer took off. No arrow no blood no hair. I looked for a half hour then started fanning out. Only then did I find 4 drops of blood. I headed in the direction the deer went still nothing. The deer went on my neighbors property so I called he came down to help. In 4 hrs we found nothing. No arrow or a drop of blood. I will hunt down there tomorrow and listen for crows about all I can do.

Headed back to the same stand today. Just have a feeling plus I want to pull the card. Ill pull all 4 and post later. 32 frost on the ground clear skies and ZERO wind! GL

Spent 4 hours on stand and my neck and back are killing me. Gone are the days of all day sits. I need a massage! Canopy is so thick got very dark early tonight.

Got in the stand at 2:30 today. low 40 overcast slight breeze. Going in I busted three out by my stand they were bedded. About an hour later here comes a 4 wheeler and I start hearing a stand come down talking then off they went. Deer came down about half hour later winded me and lit up the woods like 4th of july blowing at me. Had a buck come by about 5:45 smelled him first then saw hime here and there heading away from me. Jumped 4 more bedded in my swail. Be back at it tomorrow!

Huge deer. It will have some deductions for that crab claw and split tine in the back. The mass is amazing.

I'll be hunting by noon on Friday but don't wait for me! Steve will tell you about my camps archery experiences.....lol

I agree I hope we are on here a real long time. Here today gone tomorrow, it happens.

I like it so much that I would look into starting something new. Maybe make it a website like the electric company I have Rural electric its a co-op. so we all own it.
