It's really nice. Just gets me thinking on displaying my mounts in a different way. My room has a 14' ceiling. I could do a post all the way up and hang them like you have it. You got me thinking......

What's the coldest temperature you can remember hunting in

Same here. They would go up and camp on the state land. Campbell Brook and such., We go back every so often and camp like they did. I actually owned a cabin there for many years. Only on 5 acres but there was so much state land you didn't need property. Great memories for sure! -

Hunted there many times off of Morton Hill road. Could be a nasty place at times especially the road. Great place and thousand of acres to hunt! -
Very nice pretty natural. When ever I bust them out of the berries they stand up like that. Great mount enjoy it!

7-10 degrees 15-20 mph winds. Was in a tree stand from 1-5:00. Saw so many deer but none were bucks. It was muzzle loader season with crunch snow on the ground. I guess the amount of deer I saw kept me warm! Had to be 30 plus that afternoon. -
Half of tree stand falls were fatal, 100% were preventable

Here is a question. When you set up a new ladder stand do you wear a safety harness? I put up a 20' Muddy skybox last weekend and didn't. Probably the worst time not to wear one. Not again folks. -
Stuff it!

Back in the day was huge nails as steps and a couple of 2x6's as the platform. I don't know how we didn't have more accidents. Be safe folks it just takes one moment and your life could change forever. Good post! -
Yup, joints aching today, I sure do remember!

At camp we have Gioia who is my niece. She has killed a doe but is still waiting for her buck to walk by. Tough as nails and great to have in camp. -

My cabin is ok in Howard but my brother in law in Burdet said they got hit hard all the way down to Corning. Said 414 was closed.

Dmp does make a difference when you get your license?

Good question. I'm a land owner so I always get my permit but back in the day when I didn't own land always went the first few days. Don't know if it made a difference. -
I have apples on the ground. Doesn't look like a big crop this year.

My brother in law lives over in Burdet which is pretty close to Hector....you would've tracked me down!

I have no experience but just have to say all I saw was mushrooms this weekend everywhere in the woods. Some were so cool looking I should of taken a picture.

Put up a new stand, Muddy skybox 20' ladder stand. It is awesome! Moved a shooting box to a new location. Found some bear scat and the telephone pole is torn up must be a male? Few shots of a double rainbow when I pulled up. It was a great 5 days.

Guys I ended up putting the new Muddy Skybox inside the bedding area. I wish I took a picture but it looks real good. Going to leave the original stand for gun season. I really like the skybox easy to put together and I love the full platform and leg rest. Thanks for all the input hopefully it works out.

Wild Berry Bushes

The power lines right of way on the property are loaded on the edges with them. I always catch a bear or two during the day time in there!
