Not much to report on my end so far. We do have a few hunters in camp next weekend. My brother and I took on two big jobs for October and the beginning of November. Can't pass the work up when it's there. So the plan is for us to leave November 11th and bow hunt right up to the gun opener, leaving the 21st. Its all good and will give us a lot of time in the woods.

I don't have a problem with xbow at bow season. All good just another weapon to harvest a deer. When my trophy is on the wall and someone asks "what you get him with" and I reply xbow let them be the judge.

Deal with the devil gone bad...we never may know what happened. Something is definitely not right in Vegas. I have my theories but I'll keep them to myself.

Sorry to report that "Buck" passed this morning at 6:45. He was home and comfortable at the time of his death. A good friend is gone but his memories will live on. Thank you all for the prayers, he almost got another year to spend with his family. God Bless........

Love seeing someone new to the cabin connect on a deer. For me it would have to be a late season deer. I'll take a muzzleloader deer, snow on the ground, overcast day, slight breeze entering the new food plot we put in this year!
