Here on Long Island you can cruise some nice neighborhoods on Sunday evenings and find all sorts of great stuff. People throw out stuff that works, just want it gone. Power equipment is the best.

Happy birthday Buddy!

a 1985 SeaNymph center console with a Yamaha 1987 75 hp. Trailer has broken axil. It has been winterized and shrink wrapped, but has not been used in the last 5 years. I looked inside and it needs cleaning up. Any thoughts, I don't have any more info except that is was used mainly in fresh water. Thanks, FL

I've bought seed and such from Bob. How do you know the seed is last years seed? Come to think of it the last time I bought seed it was Oats and they did real poorly. Oats should grow anywhere, correct?

Aerial view of plot. Real secluded in there.

Local guy in Howard. Been doing them for the neighbors for some time now. He does a real nice job.

Been to the Arkport store many times and have bought seed. My neighbor has the Chestnut trees by his plots. I might do the same. There will be brush left around here and there.

Also has to do with the time I have up there. Rather pay someone to get it started so I can work on other things. Thanks for the info though!

I have always wanted to put in a food plot in this secluded area of my property. I have a small clover plot there and it sees a lot of action. I hired a local guy who does plots. It's going to be around 3/4 acre of clover and turnips with oats as cover. This area is bordered by woods on all side and the deer feel really secure here. Here is a picture, most of the brush there will be the food plot. He is spraying this week.

Few years back I had a kid up turkey hunting. We heard gobbles down the back of my property. We set up and had this tom gobbling like crazy just couldn't get him to come in. While having breakfast later that morning my neighbor comes over and I tell him the story. He laughs and says my neighbor behind us got a bunch of turkey and a tom. We had a big laugh...

Sure why not everyone else does…….

Well done on both accounts! -
Is it the first deer in the video? If so very cool looking mount, nice bucks right there.

A few get shot every year on Long Island and you do not have to tag them because they are invasive. Story goes someone had an illegal herd on LI that got lose and started breeding….so the story goes.

Headed out to SagHarbor today I saw 5 Sika deer at exit 68 on the LIE exit ramp. I saw two bucks and 3 doe. Pretty cool sight, much smaller than White Tail and very dark.

Really nice, great job right there!
