  2. Is there anyone on the forum that may be in need of an old single wide? It was used as a hunting camp for the last 25 years. Roof leaks in one spot and needs some TLC. It was not hooked up to well but does have a burner but I don't know if it works. Had an old wood stove but I took that out. If there is anyone interested I'll have my neighbor take some pictures. I just want it off the property so if you can move it you can have it for free. It is located in the town of Howard, western N.Y. FL
  3. Actual cost of the engine $3720 Jasper remanufactured 5.3.
  4. Well the problem was the cam shaft. We decided to do lifters on one side but when they took the covers off they noticed the cam problem. My truck is in real good shape. I hate to part with it. My buddy at the dealership said he would give me $1,000 for it. I said "Hell no"….So my mechanic ordered a new motor and will finish it up today. 100,000/3yr warrantee. I hope to get at least 3 more years if not more with the truck. I was worried about the transmission and got a quote of $2,000 if that goes. No looking back now……….
  5. I too had my camera messed with and pulled from the tree. I found it and the culprit was bear. Broke the strap and plastic housing. That is a bear you're looking at.

  10. Whats left of two makers Mark Manhattans last night….so good!
  11. We have some real bruisers on trail cameras. This is in public land that is hunted real hard. This is from Oct 1st to Jan 31st. Just last week we picked up some real big deer holding horns late late season. The thing is hunting spots are limited to a certain amount of hunters by the DEC. The woods are thick pines and underbrush that the deer hide in.They bust out under your feet and are gone in a second. very smart deer for sure they learn quick.
  12. Wow what a great deer! 189 gross shot with the bow on LI. Fish Unlimited did the mount. Deer of a life time for sure! (picture from another site)

  15. Go on LI deer hunting Face Book. Season is open till the end of January. I'm sure someone will shoot one this weekend and give you blood. They have to check in at Ridge so pick it up there.
  16. Empty your Caches it is under develop on a mac not sure on a PC. Also restart the computer before logging on or do a full shut down. GL Doc
  17. NFA, That sounds like a good idea. I also noticed the tuneup last year didn't include new wires. So the wires on the truck have 100,000 miles on them. I'll do the Top cleaner run it then change the wires and plugs. Thanks for the advice. FL
  18. Here is the latest update. Talked with the Chevy dealer. Service manager said it could be a cam problem but they didn't detect any noise. Stabiltrack will shut off when the truck misfires. My mechanic still wants me to run the truck with the fuel additive to clean out the carbon. Well I got in the truck this morning and the engine light was off. Ran it about 50 miles and it is still off. Going to do 1 more can of the Techtron and see what happens. Truck still has a slight rough idle but I would imagine any car with 200,000 miles on it would.
