  1. Great video, some nice ones in there. Is that one near the middle of the video a big button buck or did he shed his horns?
  2. My girls are coming over for dinner and a movie. I told them they could have anything they want……reply from them, venison tacos and loaded nachos. Got to love those girls!!
  3. Worked 25 years in that building and ate at Ted's many times. Those burgers are great enjoy!
  4. Happy birthday John, thank you for such a wonderful hunting website!
  5. think they know everything and have the world by the balls……….even on Christmas!
  6. Sounds relaxing to me! lol Enjoy being out in the woods no matter the weather. The woods speak to me like no other and usually don't talk back!
  7. Two 6 packs for Christmas day!
  8. Nice picts love the B&W. I take group photos at my camp. They line the cabin walls, documenting our hunting seasons! My neighbors camp does a group photo at the end of opening week before they all leave. Deer are hanging in the background. Those who have shot deer are sitting in chairs others are standing. Every year someone has to leave early so I get the job to photoshop them into the bigger picture!
  9. Enjoy the holidays and the venison…don't know which one comes first! lol
  10. Folks thanks so much for the help…..it worked!!! He is stable and the meds are all balancing out in his system. The talk is he might be able to come home in 3-5 days with his oxygen in tow. All you have to do is believe…. I have been here as a member for many years. This group is far above any other website hunting group I have been on. Yes we all get on each others nerves once in a while but the support, knowledge and dedication you members put out there second to none! Thank you so much and have a wonderful and safe Holiday season!
  11. That 10 acre piece I bought last year is all pine. Over the years many of them got chocked out by the big trees and rotted. They are always falling making a tangled nest in there. I can bet dollars to donuts that every time we go through the trail we jump a number of deer bedding. I too will start opening up the canopy in some other areas on my property and do some hinge cutting.
  12. A man I have known almost 35 years. He was one of the first guys I met when I came up to my Brother in laws house to hunt. He was a big guy that farmed, had a construction business and had every piece of heavy equipment you could imagine. My eyes were always wide open and my ears perky as he would hold court with the local guys that hung around his garage. His house and land was always open to me and every once in a while I would catch him for a cup of coffee just the two of us, it was memorable. I have harvested some of my biggest deer from his property. He comes from a long line of decendants in Schuyler county, has a wonderful family and he will always have a special place in my heart. He is battling multiple complications in the hospital right now. Prayers needed please…..thank you.
