My friend passed away this weekend from cancer. He played hard all his life. Left behind a wife and daughter. Was an avid hunter and fisherman. Did a yearly trip to Anticosti Island. He was a good guy and fun to be around. Has a number of mounts and rifles that will probably will go up for sale. I'll keep the group posted on any sales. Here's to you Joe! FL

A buddy of mine passed away this weekend. His wife asked me to sell his gun collection. Do I have to go through an agent to sell these guns or can I do it on my own. I looked it up and it looks like the buyer needs an official background check? Just wanted your thoughts on the subject. thanks, FL

Sea Robins taste good. It's the tail meat you eat. The belly is great fluke bait. Very white and tough, last a long time on the hook.

Was laid off a year ago this month. It was probably one of the best things that ever happened. Just keep plugging away and something will happen. Obviously you were employed for the last 30 years so you know what your doing. Good luck!

DJ's taxidermy in Bath NY. Did an excellent job on my pedestal mount and my nephews first buck mount!

Never had that problem. Look into it you don't want that in your house especially with kids.

Been seeing giant ones on Long Island the last couple of weeks. Also seeing spraying disclaimers in the local newspapers. Towns will be out in force spaying these bastards.

Hey folks, Just got in this afternoon. Had a great weekend with my girls. Most important thing was that Twin Kiss ice cream shop was open Saturday night!!!! Love their ice cream. Heard a few Tom's Saturday and Sunday morning. Got some work done and picked up the two mounts we had done at DJ's custom taxidermy in Bath NY. I couldn't be happier with the results. I had the wall pedestal mount done and my nephew had a semi sneak done. Both look amazing. The panoramic picture is in my trophy room with my 4 biggest bucks. He fits right in! Enjoy…… BTW my Nephews buck has a full black chin that we never noticed until DJ pointed it out.

Doc, I'm in Howard, Steuben county. I've posted pictures of the place in previous threads. I'll take some more this weekend.

Will be leaving LI around 1 and hope to be on the front porch by 7! Picking up my 2 girls from school and headed for a weekend of RnR. Just going to change out the blades on the mower and spray the driveway with ground clear and kick back! Oh did I say we are picking up the two mounts Saturday afternoon…..knew I was leaving something out. Can't wait to see the pedestal mount I had done and my Nephews 8pt. Enjoy the weekend folks!
