I use a hip quiver. So when I'm up the tree it straps around the tree and is never on the bow. I just like how at times it gets hung up on things. I might go back to the quiver on the bow and hang it when I'm at stand.

One of our members almost had me putting some expensive items in there just to drag you along for the ride. Just couldn't do it though, I like you guys too much! lol

Didn't take long to get into it. Pounded out the dial and then punched out the cylinder. It loosened up the latch and I got a pry bar in there. Sorry to say it was empty…

Well there is something in it that has a metal sound. Could be tray that separates it or silver?? Next step coming up!

Ok, Ok, got some more news on the safe last night. The guy who was taking care of the house said the safe hasn't been open for more than 30 years. He told me the original owner was a hoarder. There might be something in there???? The thing is that there was a nurse that had the combination and he doesn't know if she went into it when the owner was put in a home. Guess what I'm about to do?????? Talk to you in a few minutes or hours, don't know:)

Keep poachers off your land……You make an example out of one of them and then keep up the pressure and the chatter. We (I should say my neighbor) has been doing this for years. You let everyone know at all times of the year if caught poaching and trespassing in and around your property they will be arrested. You also have to be willing to stop and ask questions, take pictures of backlogs and whatever else needs to be done. Basically make a name for yourself and get a reputation that no one will mess with. Don't give an inch and be a pain in the ass and they won't come calling.

Tahoe+1/2 tank of gas=$27 and loving it! Just figures that the year I plan longer trips to the cabin but less frequent gas prices bottom out. lol

I think it is important that when giving a score you say gross or net. I think that deer will net 105-115. Nice buck!

My niece has yet to shoot a buck so if a small guy comes along she can take it. Everyone else at the cabin has to look for older deer. I don't want button bucks shot at all. Doe permits were down this year also. This year two out of 4 received permits. Last year all of us had them.

Great thought thank you! lol I'm moving in Sunday full time. Just haven't had the time to do it. All the proceeds of the house went to charity so other than the estate sale that happened in April there has been no one else in the house for 27 years except a caretaker. I have his number and reached out to him but no reply.
