  1. Brother is headed to Cortland to see his daughter at college. Just past Goshen on rt 17 there are two dead bears on the side of the road.
  2. I work in the media field that kid coming out of college better know a thing or two about technology and every other ap that is out there or…you won't get hired. Being a crack shot is great but when you go on that interview you better know the latest technology to get hired. A perfect balance would be wonderful….
  3. I'll post another article from our website you all should read it if you have kids of the age: http://time.com/money/3387201/student-loan-repayment/
  4. DEC is all too happy to give out Nuisance permits. The farmer needs to control how many deer get shot.
  5. I just don't have the time to shoot my bow the way I want to. I will shoot here and there during the summer then once a week leading into season. It's the best I can do, my misses happen because of nerves, can't practice that!
  6. I see stuff on Facebook that I can't believe gets posted. Baiting, deer in velvet dead saying it was road kill but you can see arrows laying on the ground next to the deer . Stands and cameras stolen every year. Most guys are great but in a huge populated area like LI you are dealing with a broad range of people using the same area.
  7. We put out a new way to rank colleges this year. It was really well received……. To find out which of the nation’s roughly 1,500 four-year colleges offer the most bang for your tuition buck, MONEY screened out those with a below-average graduation rate and then ranked the 665 that remained on 18 factors in three categories: educational quality, affordability, and alumni earnings provided by PayScale.com. (Enrollment, acceptance rate, and H.S. GPA data is for the 2012-2013 academic year, the latest that was available from the Department of Education.) Included: a “value added” grade that rated each college in light of the economic and academic profile of its student body and the mix of majors at that school. We then used a statistical technique to turn all the data points into a single score on a five-point scale and rated them accordingly. These schools went to the head of the class. http://time.com/money/collection/moneys-best-colleges/
