    Special shout out to Smith Point Archery on Long Island. My nieces husband came home on a two week leave from serving over seas. He wanted to get his bow license during this time. The guys over there put together a course for him this Sunday. That rates in my book and they will get my future business!

    I have to take pictures of the utility pole they scratch up on my property. We have a big one estimated at around 400lbs. I have cams out so in a couple of weeks I expect some picts.

    Hey guys, Well I had the carb rebuilt and it worked fine after two pulls! The belt that was on the machine always engaged the blades so I went with a size bigger. All good-Invested in the machine about $180 bucks and I have a trail mower.

    Go back to the owner and have him clear it up with the guy. Sorry to say but if he rents from the owner does his lease have anything in there about hunting rights? You should't have to go through this.

    Leaving for camp in the am and need some help. My neighbors property has a swamp and the beavers have made it so that the water has risen considerably. Areas where deer would cross are too deep now. They are thinking it could mess with the whole deer hunting pattern around the swamp. Can we go down and try to shoot or trap them. I know there are seasons for this but if your land is getting screwed up can you do this?

    Grow, I'm up in your neck of the woods. Over near Avoca. Have the Fireman's fair in Hammondsport and probably hit corning, check out my rental and walk market street.

    Leave tomorrow morning with my two girls. Looking forward to just kicking back, of course there will be a couple of projects. Want to put out the trail cameras, build a shed roof over my wood pile and a couple of other little things. Hope to have nice weather and a great time!!

    This mower was sitting in my neighbors yard for a year so I offered him 50 bucks for it. He upgraded and said it ran fine when he stopped using it. Tires need to be resealed but everything else is in working order. Here is the question: It will start but only runs for a few seconds then cuts out. Was going to bring up carb cleaner and spay the crap out of it to see if that would work. I was thinking if the spray doesn't work I'll get the carb replaced. Gas and spark plug is new and gas is getting to the carb. Any other suggestions?

    The software it comes with lets you zoom when editing the film. My brother uses one and loves it.

    Few seasons ago we are driving down Rt 17. There in the road a hunting boot, then a few more, some blaze orange jackets and vests. It continued until we saw a truck on the side of the road. The car top carrier opened up and stuff was flying out. Too funny!

    Tough day yesterday. In advance we planned an end of the year party for her soccer team at my x's house. It was sad seeing her with her teammates for the last time. The coach gave a speech thanking the girls and then said my daughter was moving up. She cried, it was a hard one but in the end I still think it was the right decision.

    We had the conversation last night with her. My ex and I were totally onboard to let her make the decision which she did. She amazes me. We told her she was picked to play up. 5 seconds of being happy then it hit her, what about my coach and teammates, how could I leave them. Back and forth the next half hour. It really helped that another close friend was asked to play up also. In the end she decided to take on the challenge and play up. We were proud of her either way! Thanks for all the responses I appreciate that!

    Tonight at 7:00 we are meeting to talk to her. She is 10 and does have friends on the "A" team. Another kid from her team will be moving up with her if she decides to go. Thanks for the responces.

    Those of you that have gone through or are going through youth soccer, I have a question. Do you think it is important to accept an invatation from a team to play up? My daughter was asked to play on the "A" team next year. She loves the game and up for the task but is torn leaving her friends and coach behind. I feel she has to go for it, my ex-wife doesn't want her to move up. An easy decision it is not……any thoughts?

    Headed out for a run then my girls will be here by 10 am. We will hit a family bbq and just relax. Being a father is so rewarding, I am blessed with two beautiful girls that never cease to amaze me. Enjoy the day fellas!
