  2. One of the reasons(among many) I'm divorced. She came from a family of hunters you would of thought she got it. A lot worse things a man could be doing...........get over it.
  3. Nice Sam! Bears on my property break the pine trees in half when they do that back scratching. Great picts!
  4. Guy down the street has a tombstone on his front lawn "Here lies the last dog that shit on my lawn" love it!
  5. Obama pledges $7 billion to upgrade power in Africa Student loan rates doubling on Monday
  6. Sorry about your loss. May his memories stay deep inside you.
  7. Wow amazing how thee animals get by. He looks healthy.
  8. That is how we kill them on my property. Pine forest and swamp all around us. They usually come through our place using it as an escape rout.
  9. Years ago I fished Lake Montauk and Artist lake. They were all good Bucket mouth lakes.
  10. Biggest Striper I caught was off of Eatons Neck. White bucktail with a red and white pork rind. Wire line down 30 feet. It was a huge chore bringing it in. He tipped the scales at 41 lbs.
  11. I bet ya there isn't many places out there now that would trade chores for hunting. I believe for the most part a thing of the past.
  12. 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Original owner and it has 125,000 miles on it. Runs like a champ, love it!
  13. Corn is also great for bear. You may get a few hanging around. If you time it right try to be in your stand when they cut the corn. I have had real good days doing this.
  14. They said the jump didn't work. Also said "we will send the kid down to see if he can jump it" leaves a question in your mind?? Yes they are very honest and in three years really never had a problem till now.
  15. Get to the doctor, you will regret it in the long run. Good luck!
  16. I agree with Wooly. Go with your gut and the products you know something about. I bought a sears craftsman ride-on mower. Some reviews called the thing a piece of junk that falls apart. I have had it for 5 years and mow 2 acres and all my trails through the property. It is a wonderful machine. good luck
  17. Ok here is the total amount I paid. BTW there was a $60.00 tow charge in there. So lets deduct $60.00 from $418.00=$358.00. They gave me a new battery free of charge and deducted $160.00 labor cost. I'm thinking the battery would of cost $125.00?? So $358.00 - $160.00= $198.00. $198.00-$125.00=$73.00. Total cost for battery and starter $73.00. I think this is all correct. I would say they made good on the deal. Again I think most of us have gone down this road before. I'm happy how it turned out.
  18. Last message I got was that I will be credited the labor charge for the starter. I will square this away tomorrow. Hope the truck starts tonight. lol
  19. I'm trying to get a correct explanation. They said it needed a battery today. They put it in free of charge. Now they are switching out the starter again because they think the new one is defective. This is all a bit strange to me. Mechanic will cal me back..........
