  1. 3 inch copper tops are a bit too much for me. 2 3/4 are just fine!
  2. Use copper tops in my 1187. Always do the job.
  3. Great picture. It's funny how we view these animals that kill deer. We can take picts of them as pups and think they are cute. They grow up and we want them all dead. I had a litter of fox pups this year on my property. We watched them for a weekend and they were entertaining playing around waiting for mom to come home to eat. Found a turkey and deer leg by the entrance of the den. When I told some people about it some comments were "did you kill the bastards" they eat fawns and small game. Meanwhile this person has about 5 outdoor cats roaming all over the place. I bet you they do more damage than the fox.........
  4. Tame deer. Maybe looking for a used part for his Harley!
  5. Those are nice, enjoy them for a lifetime!
  6. Driver of truck needs to check the kingpin when attaching the trailer. Its his job to do this no matter what. Kingpins have been known to be defective and break but its not the norm.
  7. I had to paste the title of the video in YouTube then it worked. (search) Nice video, good balance of footage and not too long. Enjoyed it.
  8. Heard there is a lot of bunker around this year. It is making for some great fishing as we have heard from you. Nothing like catching a big one on your Yak! Congrats!
  9. I like the ladder stands but they do limit you on movement. The platform you stand on isn't very big. I have a combination of ladder stands and hang-ons that use climbing sticks.
  10. Here is Mac taken care of business at home. He is a 7 year old Wheaten Terrier. He is pictured with his adopted brother Rickey.
  11. Way to go Elmo! BTW what trail cam did you use for that shot.........Congrats!
  12. I have the same situation. We post the heck out of the power lines. Never had a problem with people hunting it. It's my property, I post it.
  13. I saw a lot also on my 6 hr trip to the cabin. Included was a bear at exit 112.
  14. I was up at my place this weekend. Two weekends ago we saw a litter of fox pups. I went back yesterday to see how they were and found the place empty. I looked into the hole and there lay a dead pup. It was a good size all curled up but no sign of life.
  15. Was coming through around 7 am Saturday morning and saw a small bear dead in the middle median. I called the DEC and they took the report. Couldn't of been more than 50-75 lbs. Poor fella.
  16. I have tried no plow and throw and grow. Both worked pretty good. Lime was the key with both. looks like she is coming in. Had all kind of animals visiting a plot that was just about the same size as your plot. Good luck.
  17. OT but I moved an apple tree last Sept. it went into shock and I thought it died. Went up to camp last weekend and had new growth all over it. I'm a happy camper!
  18. That should be published. It's great seeing how Hunters care so much for the wildlife in this state. Hats off to you Wooly! I'm sure this story could run in NYON.
