    Who would

I would for sure. The family loves venison and I love being in the woods watching all of its wonderful creatures. What would be the reasoning behind not shooting bucks?
  2. Cats oh boy. I got my kids a cat or should I say I got myself one. Never had one and never will again. Smart as a whip and listens to me but the F-ing hair. I bought a dog that doesn't shed, what was I thinking?? Oh yea and they love to jump on the counter tops. Set the rules straight right now.
  3. Thanks resident experts! I will look into it.
  4. Guys am I wasting my money putting higher octane gas in my lawn tractor and quad?
  5. A few guys recommended only using high octane gas in these type of machines. Less ethanol I guess?
  6. Thanks all. My girls are the best. The little one actually snuck the paint out into the field and put it on. Didn't make it to Niagara Falls but hit Letchworth and the museum in Corning.
  7. Wow Sam-great video. I guess you were in your truck? Why don't those damn deer look both ways before crossing? Exceptional bucks, I hope you get a chance to hunt them.
  8. Postedboyz, See that's it. What you think is hilarious with your buddy (I'm sure it is) doesn't work for us. Glad you can take criticism, it will make the next video so much better. Keep it up-looking forward to the next one.
  9. My pot is growing great. Seems to tolerate the dry hot weather fine. Good luck everyone. Whoops, left out the l in plot. lol
  10. They need to make reporting public record. The website should be designed for real time information. You shoot a deer and report it. Information goes right into the data base and is public record for anyone to check. It would be cool to know at any point in the season how many deer were taken from your area and by whom!! That way people can be held accountable. DEC officers should be able to scan your tag with a smart phone and call up everything you have reported for that year. Heavier fines for those of us who break the law.
  11. No AR's in the state. It should be your choice, you pay for the tag. The DEC needs to come up with some type of full-proof way to stop people from using someone else's deer tag. I see too many people out there shooting a buck early and continue to hunt on a doe permit. While looking to fill the doe permit they have a backup tag, the wife or friend, and will shoot another buck if it comes along.
  12. Filming hunts is wonderful. Took a collection of mine and made a feature that lasts 90 minutes. These were hunts that were taped back in the early 90's all the way to 2005. I have put down the camera for the lsat couple of years. The only advice I have for people is not to blow a chance at a big buck just because you want it on film.
  13. Grow you are slipping a bit, legal hunting hours................
  14. To be honest too much of you guys and not enough game. It gets a bit boring. I made the same mistake when I started taping hunts. You will get better at it for sure, good luck.
  15. Steve and Doe are always welcomed at my place, they can shoot what they want. Never put restrictions on people and never will. Don't see why the state has to do it. There are 11 guys from PA that come up here to hunt, put AR's in they are history. They pay for their tags and want meat. The icing on the cake is a nice buck. I got a gun club that preaches AR's, they hit all the neighboring properties preaching letting the small ones walk. During gun season we see small bucks hanging from their meat pole and there always is a bogus reason why it was shot. Don't see a need for it and never will doesn't help anyone except the trophy hunter. In my eyes every deer is a trophy.
  16. "And lastly to all of those who say simply go shoot a doe, well gee I would love to but there are zero permits for my area. I hope all of you boys in western NY are ready for steve863 and I, we are pulling up stakes and heading your way. " You can always go back to Burt's place, sure he won't mind!
  17. Great picts, you sure can grow them! Looking forward to the fall picts when the velvet is off!
  18. Sorry I didn't read the disclaimer, let's cover all the bases and preach what you want to preach, doesn't work for me though.
