12 killed, 38 hurt in Colorado shooting

In a smokey dark theater we don't need more people around shooting guns. Yes I wished there was a well trained individual carrying a gun and maybe that would of made a difference. Like I said the person has to be well trained and able to kill a human being, I don't think most of us could do that. Very unfortunate situation I feel badly for those who are suffering. -
Easy way o tell a buck from a doe in the fall. During the rut hormone changes cause bucks scat to coagulate.

It's called the "G" spot. G I never thought deer would be in there. I have come across some of those spots. Usually save them for a slow hunting day and put on a 2-3 man push.

Going to be 73 in NYC Friday! Can't wait.

Soft shell crab and sweet corn.

Funny how a thread about banning fires in a time of drought turns into government bashing. People can lose their lives, livelihood and all possesions. By the way we are hunters and need the woods to hunt in. This is so typical of a few on this website.

I would for sure. The family loves venison and I love being in the woods watching all of its wonderful creatures. What would be the reasoning behind not shooting bucks?

Cats oh boy. I got my kids a cat or should I say I got myself one. Never had one and never will again. Smart as a whip and listens to me but the F-ing hair. I bought a dog that doesn't shed, what was I thinking?? Oh yea and they love to jump on the counter tops. Set the rules straight right now.

Thanks resident experts! I will look into it.

Guys am I wasting my money putting higher octane gas in my lawn tractor and quad?
-
A few guys recommended only using high octane gas in these type of machines. Less ethanol I guess?

Thanks all. My girls are the best. The little one actually snuck the paint out into the field and put it on. Didn't make it to Niagara Falls but hit Letchworth and the museum in Corning.

Wow Sam-great video. I guess you were in your truck? Why don't those damn deer look both ways before crossing? Exceptional bucks, I hope you get a chance to hunt them.
-
Postedboyz, See that's it. What you think is hilarious with your buddy (I'm sure it is) doesn't work for us. Glad you can take criticism, it will make the next video so much better. Keep it up-looking forward to the next one.

My pot is growing great. Seems to tolerate the dry hot weather fine. Good luck everyone. Whoops, left out the l in plot. lol

They need to make reporting public record. The website should be designed for real time information. You shoot a deer and report it. Information goes right into the data base and is public record for anyone to check. It would be cool to know at any point in the season how many deer were taken from your area and by whom!! That way people can be held accountable. DEC officers should be able to scan your tag with a smart phone and call up everything you have reported for that year. Heavier fines for those of us who break the law.
-
No AR's in the state. It should be your choice, you pay for the tag. The DEC needs to come up with some type of full-proof way to stop people from using someone else's deer tag. I see too many people out there shooting a buck early and continue to hunt on a doe permit. While looking to fill the doe permit they have a backup tag, the wife or friend, and will shoot another buck if it comes along.

Filming hunts is wonderful. Took a collection of mine and made a feature that lasts 90 minutes. These were hunts that were taped back in the early 90's all the way to 2005. I have put down the camera for the lsat couple of years. The only advice I have for people is not to blow a chance at a big buck just because you want it on film.
