I see where you read my story wrong. I didn't think twice about getting the gun. I get what you thought, but I meant I paid it no mind. Maybe my bad choice of words. I see that. Yes rabbits produce more offspring but also have much more predators. My point is a life is a life weather a deer, bear or rabbit. We value deer more becuuse they are a part of our favorite sport deer hunting. Calm down Jr. I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you, my opinion.

I got to see two jumps yesterday, pretty cool. She is done and now a part of AirBorne! Last jump was in the dark. Unfortunately there are risks on every jump. 1st jump a soldier broke his leg when anther guy got on top of his chute and accelerated his decent. Night jump two guys got tangled up don't know how bad but the ambulance was called.

Yes I am. Just making a point.

So yesterday while taking the dogs out a hawk swooped into my corn field and got a rabbit. It squealed for about 10 seconds really bad then nothing. I didn't think twice about getting a gun and shooting the hawk. Now if a yote had a deer in my yard I would run for the shot gun. There is no difference except the value of the deer to each of us.

Hey you know what? I haven't heard. a coyote in 8 months. You know why? Last year while watching a field by my house two wolves came up the side of the field . Not enough time to get on them with the gun but my brother and I saw it. Wolves eat coyotes. Two huge dogs. Chew on that!

They weren't contradicting at all . They just have a new study that puts it right in front of you. I totally agree with this study then add in the predation part and i'm fine with 1/3 of fawns make it.

Congrats Eddie that is a wonderful thing!

All good points. My shotgun has a big scope on it. Very easy to pick up a deer quickly. Kind of makes sense here in NY .

I just had a gun shop install 3x9 40 mm Bushnell Banner scopes on my muzzleloader and 35 Marlin. I'm very happy with them.

Can't wait to do this next year! Went my buddies 70th birthday part Saturday. He has some beautiful ponds on the property and his own ducks. He takes real pride in them. They were pretty friendly and the kids had a ball swimming with them.

A lot of that grows on Long Island. Remember seeing it all the time.

I must feel like they just trespass where ever they think they should go. They are nice guys but who gives direction. Had a few on tail cameras.
