So, the city has a $2 million birth control plan: deer vasectomies.This week, the Comptroller’s office gave the Parks Department the go-ahead to contract the process, Staten Island Advance reports. In 2014, a survey found more than 750 deer in over 18.7 square miles of Staten Island.City officials say vasectomies, which will take about 15 minutes per deer, are faster, cheaper and more humane than sterilizing females, Fox 5 reported when the plan was made public.The three-year plan, which would start in September, calls for hundreds of bucks to be tranquilized, captured, given vasectomies and released back into the area's parkland.

I always wanted to do that shoot, but will be working. Thats has got to be an all day commitment... how long does it take to finish the one day 50 targets? I get annoyed sometimes with the 15 target shoots standing behind the guys with there binos out staring at a target for 5 minutes before they shoot. I shoot for fun and practice, I won't even bring my binos.

Both my grandfather's served and were both there on d day. One grandfather was on the ground, he took a round in his shoulder earning one of his two purple hearts that day. My other grandfather was in the air that day, he was a navigator. I always think how lucky I am they both made it through that day and the war, otherwise I wouldn't be writing this. Going to Ellicottville brewery tonight. Havent had a whole lot of their beers. Ive had the 2 brothers ipa (its ok) and their blueberry (not a big fan). Anyone have any suggestions?
