    I always keep count of how many shots I hear on opening day. Heard 89 shots before legal sunrise at 6:59 AM... stopped counting when the shot count hit 300 at 7:42AM

    Get on the food. If it gets cold that is... I'm hoping the deer will be back on the food. We just need some colder weather.

    I use 3, 50 grain pyrodex pellets, pushing a 300 grain Harvester PT Gold with a Crush Rib Sabot out of my TC Omega. Deadly accurate with ridiculous knockdown power.

    Thank's guys. It's a male, 42 pounds. Shot him at about 7:30, then the buck at 2:45 in the afternoon. Both dropped in their tracks.
