Nope, they were all dressed like Stormtroopers, so I knew I was safe. I just made sure I did not have a red shirt on to play it safe. Sent from my S30U+ using Tapatalk

Shoulder is still very slowly mending, I did get good enough to hunt deer under 20 yards but did not have any shots I felt were responsible so I never loosed an arrow at a deer. Saw a nice buck at 15 last day of bow season in range for me but he was moving fast and there was to much in the way. I had hoped to hunt turkey with my bow but the shoulder does not feel steady enough and I just don't want to take a risk at hurting an animal. Lost 2 deer with rifle, I have no doubt the first died, had to go back next morning to pick up the trail with more light and it ended up raining and we spent 3 or 4 hours more looking for it and only found a tiny speck of blood about a foot from last blood the night before. I am still sick over that one. The other jumped just as the shot went off and I think I only winged it, no blood anywhere but what looked like a piece of belly fat and nothing else anywhere. Both shot with 165 gr. 30.06 Bullet the first only 10-15 yards away. Sent from my S30U+ using Tapatalk

I was taught with 1 pin and want to go back to it after trying multiple pins. Looking to get a nice heavy site pin, I found out with current sight I do not like the small ones. Found one I liked in magazine last year then saw it cost more than 500 and said forget all that. Sent from my S30U+ using Tapatalk

I do not recall what they are called but I had to get those things put on the string that are round and you just release like you were on the string because I could not find a glove or tab big enough to fit my hands. I wanted to go with a nice quality glove but the 2XL's wouldn't go over my fingertips and I had a problem with them fitting my wrists. Sent from my S30U+ using Tapatalk

Trying to learn with an old Ben Pearson Panther set at 45# @28 but was surprised to find out I only have a 26" draw, I have a 29" draw with my compound and release. I had gotten to where I was hitting tennis balls @ 15 yards before the weather changed. If I feel I have gotten good enough to hunt with recurve I am going to have to get a bow that shoots 45-50# @28 as this does not have the penetrating power as I am not drawing it to maximum draw. I just bought an Indian Creek choke in .665 and will be getting a few boxes of TSS Now before anybody freaks out I have no interest in shooting over 40 yards, I just like the idea of more pellets hitting the bird at that range and once those 5 boxes are gone I am not likely to buy more, I am just using some of this stimulus check to try something new. I would also like to try the Hevi-Weight 13 I think it is called. I am concerned with pattern being to tight under 20 yards, that is my one worry. I got several new calls, guess I would be considered a collector now. Just got a new scratch Box from Ernie Fetters that came with 2 strikers, I have been wanting one from him for 3 years and finally got one second hand. Also got a new Tulipwood trumpet, sounds great, I do not, I need to keep practising. Sent from my S30U+ using Tapatalk

If you do not have them pick up the DVD's with all his old hunts in them, well worth the money Sent from my S30U+ using Tapatalk

This is the one I put together from a kit, I had to sand the entire thing down, glue in the pedestal ring to put the soundboard on, glue in the glass soundboard put a can of carrots on top of it because I did not have a clamp, let it sit for 2 days so glue would dry, then put on slate surface and repeat the process with the can of carrots. Here is a soundfile if you care to hear it. Edit: Darn it, pictures showed up in reverse, sorry about that, trying to edit them in proper order.

I wonder how many accidents there were this year in comparison to to the previous year when it was done in house? Sent from my S30U+ using Tapatalk

Thank you. Has been a good one, meal is being made then instead of cake we are having chocolate and butterscotch pudding pie with Coolwhip on top. Thank you. Thank you, she means the world to me, I will be a wreck when she dies.

Thank you both.

Thank you all very much. Yes it was a good day, got a cocobolo striker in to use on my turkey calls that I have been waiting for for a month, got in the final piece I need to use my new 70-300mm lens on my camera as well as an extra battery and charger for the truck to charge camera batteries and most seems to fit into the backpack I bought for my camera gear as well. Now I just have to get out there and do some shooting. I will be going out trapping tomorrow so that may present itself some opportunities for pictures, or at least I hope so. This is the backpack I bought to carry it all. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00009R6TA/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_6?smid=A17MC6HOH9AVE6&psc=1

I picked up a collectors piece and a wingbone that is numbered. I can not tell for sure but I believe the signature on the box call is Dave Constantine and after going to his site and looking how he does things I am pretty sure it is. This is Mr. Constantines website and after looking at several of his calls I do think it is one of his. http://www.dconstantine.com/tc-box.cfm The wingbone seems to read Mike Hanna but I am not sure of that and is numbered #32 has anyone heard of him? By the way I am sorry for the quality of the pictures, I just could not seem to get anything to come out the way I wanted them to.

Sorry I did not get them out when intended but I just got them sent just a few minutes ago. I sent white like you asked and there are a dozen of them. When you go to put them on use the edge of a old or new mousepad to help line them with the arrow and roll them on that way. If I can do it with my lousy hands I assure you that you can as well. Post a pic and tag when when you get some on, I would like to see if you personalize them any more.

You're welcome, do you have vanes to add to them? These are not the kind that have the vanes attached, you have to glue them on. As to your PM I don't want anything for them, I am a firm believer in helping the beginners get started, the same way as someone did with me. Sent from my S30U+ using Tapatalk

Review of the Allen Gear Fit Pursuit Shocker 52" Mossy Oak Obsession Turkey Shotgun Case I bought this case because I have been in a few car accidents and I do not have the greatest balance so I carry my gun to my blind in the case. I liked that I would be able to bring extra calls with me each morning as I headed out and also extra strikers. Well unfortunately the strikers as you can see by my picture do not fit. I own close to 100 strikers (Yea I am that guy) I thought if I really worked at it I could get the striker pouches to close on the bottom two (Though I am sure the strikers would fall out as they barely closed) but the top one is completely useless, all three are made way to short and way to narrow for any striker I have ever seen. Another complaint is that the case is not camouflaged all the way around, the back side is an olive drab color as seen in my pictures. I have to say that I did like all the pockets that this has but the one big mistake they made is a really major one in my mind, they used Velcro on a few of the pockets. Imagine trying to get a call out without a turkey hearing that and busting you, forget about it! There is also Velcro on the back pocket that is designed to hold extra choke tubes (I used them to carry extra shells putting two shells in each loop) and is unnecessary as there is already a plastic buckle and a zipper so no need for the turkey scaring Velcro. On the pocket that holds the shortbox/box call there is yet again more turkey scaring Velcro, a buckle would have been much better or even a zipper that opened carefully would not make nearly as much noise as the turkey scaring Velcro. All that said the case is well padded, I do carry a scoped shotgun and there was plenty of room in the case and I do feel that the scope had sufficient padding to protect it. The one place they used Velcro that I agree with is on the removeable measuring tape, very nice to use to see how long the spurs and beard are after you have taken your turkey. This is a case with many good ideas with poor execution. By the way if you happen to have already bought the case and are thinking of buying the matching sling or are just thinking of getting the sling don't, it is rather noisy, both where it attaches to the gun and the material on the back/inside of the sling are noisy and I had to remove it when I got to where I was going the few times I did go in without the case.
