  1. The scope is mounted with low mounts, so i dont think thats an issue, i think the recoil of a 12g has wore it out. Its an old buckmaster scope that came on the gun when i bought it used, so its no great loss. Time to upgrade.
  2. I check it every year, shoots dead nuts on flat ground, never dropped or abused. Scope mounts are tight.
  3. Anyone ever have this go bad on your scope? My shotgun seems to have this problem, shooting from the ground its dead on to 50y but 15 up in a tree stand i have no idea where the slug went. This started 2yrs ago but thought it was just me getting a little too excited, but last year i had a deer sneak up on me and it was a 20 FOOT shot and it was a clear miss, deer didnt move took another shot aimed little higher thinking i went low............nothing clear miss, deer trotted off to about 15y stopped broadside, took another shot aimed 2 inches above its back, and spine shot it. Its an older scope and i think its time to retire it.
  4. Thanks, ill give it a try. I have heard there some problems with the sd card if it isnt done properly.
  5. Will do. Hoping to get a bear pic, few piles of sign in one area. Either he had some bad chili the night before or its becomming a regular place to pass. (no pun intended)
  6. Took the plunge and bought one, followed the set-up instructions, put it out last week. Im going back up next weekend and want to switch out the sd card. How do i do this, do i just leave it "armed" and pull one out and put in the new one? Or do i have to shut it off first?
  7. I have a few spots that have just about the same slop as this, might give it a shot.
  8. How about a topic for game recipes and processing equipment?
