    Yep - life gets in the way sometimes. Next year. For my limited time out, I did get eyes on a couple of good ones and if I had cleared lanes, still might have gotten it done. Oh well.

    The two biggest bodied bucks I shot - one was PY and the other probably scored about 100" but big bodied. Had both mounted and I often hear "wow the antlers don't match the head and neck on that one." lol

    I like the change but was surprised to find that the only sit I had in regular season, it got darker much sooner than 30 min after legal sunset. I could hear but not see the last deer I saw that day until it was nearly under me. And it was probably only 15 min after legal sunset. Wrong buck though. lol

    Fair enough. This is a debate I conceded on long ago regarding paying off the house early. At 3% it makes no sense but I liked the idea to get rid of the debt. My brother convinced me otherwise. He is right but it does take discipline. Grow the investment account. You can always pay off the car or house.

    Why cash? With today’s rates assuming good credit, that cash money you are paying would you pay far more in the market. 1.9% vs what the market earned the last 2 years. Your $3-4k would have been returned plus. Although I certainly understand some not wanting debt. But I will take on debt at today’s rates to have use of the money. Just a thought. Let the money work for you.

    So I just cancelled my order on the cyber truck. Great concept but my free loan seemed silly. I may reconsider when they actually build it. I hope you like that new truck. I am not brand loyal but have absolutely loved both of my Ford Raptors.

    My only point is that I would not shoot in the direction that you otherwise would not simply because you are 5-7’ off the ground. Anyways good hunting

    I am happy you are safer off the ground. Just be sure that the beyond your target is also safe, both for you and others. Good hunting.

    I always thought shooting downward eliminated concern but I learned that bullets bounce and ricochet like you wouldn’t believe, even when shooting downward. Just an FYI. its actually part of military training for shooters to understand how crazy bullets react. Not criticizing. I was surprised myself.

    Just like the raptors, with a twin turbo as soon as the tuners get ahold of it, it will be just as fast if not faster than the TRX for less than $1500. Nice truck.
