So sorry to hear .

It’s a fine line Dave , balancing practice with protecting the shoulder . The more one practices the better one shoots , the season starts and then you can no longer draw the bow ! Fortunately I take only close shots , and very selective on the shot angle as well , so minimal practice is the balance . This is so odd, I generally don’t even think about hunting till the tags come out .

Ok now I’m all set for the season . This little rabbit watched me shoot , so he know he was safe I guess .

So Genny hypes the crap out of this special black raspberry Cream Ale, pre sale on line sells out in four minutes , but it hits the stores today . So I go to Wegmans, don’t see it out yet, guy comes out from the back, “ ya its not here yet , well let me check again “ , “ sorry the truck comes between now and 11:00, but we’re only getting ONE case ! “ wtf , really one case for a whole Wegmans ? Why even make the beer , so what a handful of people can ever even taste it ? I’m about done chasing freaking beer .

Well perhaps if I score some tomorrow, I may save you a can .

Ha , I should try that with my Henry .22 ! But iron sights and old eyes, would be a challenge for sure !

I drove by one corn field on the farm today , looked like ten or twelve inches , but that field is very wet and holds water well . The soy beans on our land , was very dry ,they got a hard rain , but that just runs off, not sinking in . We need a good soaking rain . 8H Canandaigua.

Don’t often start till August, but flung 9 today . This is my first “ group “, they’re all in the five inch circle ,but a horrible group . The big thing is can I still draw the bow ? that went good , of course it only took a couple arrows for my shoulder to hurt .

Sold out online in four minutes . It drops in Rochester stores tomorrow, but Genny is poor with information, like not listing the stores or the time it hits the shelves . I’m Sure Wegmans will have it , but last time I got there to late .

Many buck shot, handgun rounds , AR rounds , shotgun slugs are in short supply right now , and will stay that way through the election at least . Buds guns had 670 SKU of 9mm ammo on their site , 665 were out of stock , zero 300 Blackout rounds . Sportsman Warehouse today, had a good supply of hunting rifle ammo, and all the 12 ga #8 shot you could ever shoot, a few boxes of 10mm and 357 ammo, but little to no 9mm, 45, 380, 223 , slugs , zero buckshot . Another gun shop I was in a couple days back had a handful of bolt action rifles, and the pistol case had a few single action hand guns . They wouldn’t even put my name on a waiting list for the long gun , I was looking for . Of course it’s going to be a bad summer, upstate cities have seen a rise in shootings ,and killings since all the anti cop stuff started . No cop is going to be proactive in today’s anti police climate, they’re only taking radio calls , otherwise it’s “ I see nothing . “ Oh and add in bail reform , here’s your appearance ticket for your felony have a nice day !

My Dad would come home from work, grab a Genny long neck , remove the top, but set it down without taking a sip and walk to their bedroom and change out of his work clothes . As a young lad I would grab it and take a L-O-N-G sip . It wasn’t till not that long ago till it dawned on me, that was his plan all along , as he never said a word that two inches were always gone off that beer .

I think the term “ odd “ number should be changed to something less offensive to numbers .

Guys haven’t been to a barbershop in WEEKS that’s funny right there !
