I use a top and bottom strap on all my hang ons . With my LW I just use the two they , provide. Life line above all hang ons, that I clip into on the ground . That said I sold all my hang ons, but one LW , all ladders now .

Spengler , who lived a short distance from where I grew up, I’ve been to his Dads home many times as my Dad knew him , killed his grandmother in ‘81 and was paroled in ‘97 . It was in 2012 when he shot 4 people ( one a friend and co worker of mine ) two were killed two wounded . Unless there’s a different William Spengler ,your referring too .

That’s a good schedule, lots of good stuff, our daughter who hikes all over ( this year Banff and Pacific Northwest ) could benefit from compass class . Sadly she’s working tomorrow. Going buy what so many here drive, need never entered into it before . Never been there till a couple years ago, when daughter was sent to audit Hobart college , we’d meet her for dinner , then ended up going to concert at Smith opera house , the Meet and Greet , then oldest was dating a guy from there . Kinda neat place .

I could have wrote that post , my feelings too . My daughter took the class at a young age as it was required , it’s a good base. My Sheriff friend taught it and drove her there as well , of course he had to tell her stories about me .... He taught the PWC class to many of my co - workers, and would tell them about my water ski spotter .
