If I made a fake profile here with a pic of a good looking girl ,and said I was thinking about hunting but never had tried any venison I'd need to buy more freezers .

Some of you fellas are just all mixed up I kill deer in bow every year can't remember when I bought heads last, but I use cut on contact and just resharpen them . In 30 years I've bought two,bows the most expensive one was less then $500 . Many of you guys spend thousands on bows for some odd reason . But bitch at $15 heads ...... Add up the hours spent scouting , working on the land , hanging stands, sitting in them, I could make thousands of dollars working a side job in all that time , and dine on steak and lobster . Buy the real thing don't support crooks .

This weather is awesome ! I'll be out on the boat tomorrow and hope,to ski as well . It's been years since I water skied in Oct but things are looking good for this year !!!

Id say I shot maybe 150 arrows this year . I'll keep shooting a few here and there all season , always shoot one arrow (FP) from stand . Oh I've shot a few in the past , when your string guard looks like this you've shot a couple arrows..

Nothing special at all really , whatever happens ,happens . Never had a hit list , barely ran my cameras this year , and haven't checked them in a while . oh it would be cool if my daughter shot a nice buck , but between her work and out of town weddings not sure how much she'll be out . I'm getting her a 7mm 08 though .

A single climbing stick will allow you to hang out of reach. Also don't wrap the strap all the way around the tree, so,it's not visable 360 . Use a bracket or cut the strap to a few inches and use roofing nails to,hold it to,tree .

Bunch of thugs giving each other concussions, which I see as a win . Don't want the NFL to,go away , the job opportunities for most of those fellas would cause the crime rates to go,up ....

Anniversary Nov 4th shot this buck on it last year , best anniversary ever. At the start of bow she says " see you around Christmas" . Generally take her to dinner for our anniversary sometime in Jan if it's not snowing hard . She's a lucky woman !

I'm loving this weather ! If it would stay hot this long every year , then other then taxes I'd consider staying in NY . Trust me , you'll all be freezing in your stand before you know it , posting questions on keeping feet warm and best base layers .....

Had them earlier in the summer , last couple days they came back . Few inside few on screen doors. Dont squish them ! Use a paper cup, catch and flush .

I have two out on 80 or so acres of woods sourounded by miles of crops .It's fun and all but frankly my stands are in good spots the cams don't really aid me at all . When the ruts kicks in , I'm in the right spots for all the wondering bucks that never showed up on cams .

Hey I resemble that remark ! I'm thinking of lining the back deck of the Buick with stuffed animals and putting on a bumper sticker at an angle ! btw wife was very pissed comimg back from Lake Placid I was 80 mph plus , don't recall if blinker was on . She really hates it when the Troopers send me back on my way . Who's side is she on anyway ?! One time she opened the glove box ( Glock inside ) when the papers are in center console, I screamed " she's got a gun" but he didn't fire ..... Btw at work I've determined the worst drivers are Mini Coopers and Prius owners . Lights and sirens on there a$$ and they're clueless . Drove the CRV today , nice but can't tow crap. I don't like buying cars or trucks , I see them as a nessary evil and block to accumulating wealth for many . Our financial goals have been met , paid for kids collage and reached a target level of net worth . So now I'm splurging on a small AWD which will,be close to 50% of what I've spent on cars in the last 38 years ..... off to,buy my hunting license .

Not selling the Buick. Not leasing . Wife is cheap ..... That's my battle , we've done very well investing the last 30 years , I also came into a sum of money recently that would cover the cost and then some . If it was up to me one would already be in the driveway and I'd be checking cameras, shooting my bow and other more important stuff . But I gotta play the game and make it seem like her idea somehow . Maybe I'll buy her a new vacuum or dishwasher to sweeten the deal . Also wants the point of being the Trophy Husband if I can't get a new car ?

Looking at CRV tomorrow , never thought I'd own an Outback but I keep going back to,it . I've looked at Volvos, Acura MDX, Exploders , Jeeps and on and on . Down to these two now. Was going to buy when I retire next May, but, daughters sub frame on her 04 Grand Am trusted away , the steering column / housing is no longer connected to the frame , makes for fun handling ! So I said I'd sell her our '03 , 77k miles Aurora , 8cyl ,new Michelins, super clean car for a grand . She parks on a city street and the hospital parking lot is not good to new cars either . So we need to move on a car in a week or two.

I promise I won't add any Coexist or feel the burn stickers . Life NRA and a buck on top sure .

So the Honda ? edit both are made in Indiana. My Dad always bought GM always. Since my first car in '77 I've only owned one " foreign " car , that one was made in Japan . Today U.S. Cars are made in places like Mexico and Japaness cars in the U.S. Ive reached a point where ratings ,resale , reliability , owner satisfaction and safety are driving my decisions.

I'm out or likes . Ive flown a flag every nice day on my house since I bought my first one I idk mid '80's . At our current one there are now 8 or so on all my close neighbors houses, new folks move in ( starter neighborhood ) and soon buy one ! There is a folded one in the family room they was on my Uncle casket in WWII . As well as one on my helmet . What irks me is guys who,fly a football team flag and that's fine but NO American flag ever .
