We did 11 days with no,power in '91 with a baby ... 3 days in 2003 . It's like camping but with a whole house ! Chas. Sure but that doesn't solve someone touching the end of the suicide cord. Yesterday the RGE crews I worked with main concern after they killed the power to severed primary lines , was someone who,hooked up a generator wrong . Faulty main breaker , loose connection and so on . Oh well I learned from '91 . Gas fireplace heats the house with no power , sump pump back up runs off water line , many led lanterns . Plus passports and 2k cash in safe if long term we'll be in the D.R. Mrs 302 heads to Florida for 3 weeks in a few days !!!! I don't care if I got power or not , I can sip whiskey and smoke cigars in the dark just fine !

That of course is a code violation and nobody from the power co. to,the FD is happy to,run into,that. Better to get a transfer switch, or run cords directly to,a few lights and appliances . No,offense but if you go to all the trouble of buying a generator , why not set it up correctly .

This end of Webster has power . We ran all afternoon at work, trees and wires down everywhere . Had a primary line down on a chainlink fence, energizing it for a couple hundred yards. Causing brush and tree fires all along its length , its arching and humming . Any fences running off it up,into,yards were also,charged . Lady comes out of her house and stands 3 feet from energized fence to say it's burning all along it ...... We yell and wave her away, she smiles and waves back , once we explain touching the fence could kill her she asks if her kids could play in back yard ok ! See what happens when woman stay home for the day ?

There are fakes made today that you can get for $200 , that a jeweler has to,take the back off to tell the differance . This one though I bought off a trusted seller on the Rolex forum, by buying used you can save a bunch and your watch doesn't have that big deprecation new ones do . Like I told the Mrs I could leave the money in the bank earning nothing or put it on my wrist . Btw we never moved out of our starter home , and I drive an '04 Buick and the Mrs and '03. How many here buy an atv to,drag a couple deer out of the woods, or a 50k pick up " because they hunt " lol . ive killed plenty of deer while wearing it , my sleeves cover it , although I do make sure I remember which branch I hang it on while gutting .....

Everyone I work with is using a jail broke Firetsick , Which is just downloading Kodi to it , you can do,it yourself for free , I've watched them do it . Right now it seems the buildings wifi does not support steaming videos , if in fact it does then that would be the way to go .

Digital antennas . The major networks all transmit over the air, in digital format . Grow IDK it's two years old at most . Finally found a useful answer on the net , it seems I did not scan for channels correctly .

So the oldest daughter just moved into a new apartment , and Is not yet sure what she'll do for TV. So today I went to hook up an antenna so she could watch the local channels . I went online and plugged in the zip code , and it showed that the channels signal would be strong where she is . The antenna has a built in amp as well . Well I could not get anything , could be user error . I did get this while trying to set it up and frankly don't know what that means . Also the building has wifi, I can see a unit in the hall 30 feet from her door, yet she said her Crome Cast does not work , could the wifi not support streaming ? As one can guess this is not my area and thanks . I meant to,bring some cable to see if by chance that was on, as her last place it was never turned off .

I already screen shot it .... But I have a feeling he's a bit like me , I tell my wife everything ( ok 99%) that way nothing can really get back to her and take me by surprise . There are guys at work who,keep,things from their wives , like the holiday check we get that's like 11 days pay! But they all find out sooner or later then the shtf !

Cool ! I've only once in 40 years of buying cars spent more then 8k on one what that cost ? And will it fit my family ? And tow my boat ?

I did not watch , but I saw La La land and enjoyed it ! Considering I don't care for musicals that says somethings , I guess . At work I mentioned I saw it, one guy started to,watch it on his jail broke , Firestick and said as soon as they got,out of their cars on the highway and started to,dance he stopped watching . He said that was not believable .... I said but you watch Transformers .....

I understand reading and reading comprehension is a challenge for some . Nowhere did I say I have a sanctuary , just a thicket we stay out of, execept for some stands a little ways in . This seems to be what Eddie wanted to do ( although he called it one ). Merely trying to show him a similar set up works well for us .

I have an area of thick stuff that's about 15- 20 acres . We stay out of it mostly , however its got crop fields on 3 sides and not to many large trees on the edges which makes " getting them , entering/ exiting " a bit of a challenge . So I have a few stands about 30 yards in . It's about my best spot , the deer are always in there . I would try to get the blind set up earlier though
