This story has been picked up by some local television stations and papers. Its getting more press everyday. Earlier this week a woman from Saratoga started a petition to have an upcoming gun show canceled. She has been able to get over 1,000 signatures in a few days. Just yesterday another gentleman started a petition in support of keeping the gun show. If you go to change.org and type in Saratoga gun show in their search you will be able to access either petition and sign one. The petition to keep the gun show is approaching 800 signatures in just one day.

Never throw out any expired coupons from Dicks. They will accept them now matter how old they are. I used one a few months back that was over a year old and they took it. I asked the guy at the register and he said they have always done this.

While I am all for the 2nd amendment. I think we do need stricter gun control. With that being said, I wanted to post a pretty cool quote I read today. It was something to the effect of Blaming this latest tragedy on the "Gun" is like blaming this nations obesity problem on the "fork"

Great point you have. I have been a member on this site for about a 1/2 a year but do not spend much time on here until this past weekend. I have been checking out a lot of the differnent forums and topics and it seems like one particular person jumps into any amazing amount of them and just keeps trying to push his views. Most of the people do seem civil and have an open mind so I still believe in the human sprit.

OK I have no idea where you think I defended those who exploit this type of tragedy. Its simply not true and no where in any of my post is there any indication to that. Normally I would take huge offense to that but I can see that you just love this back and forth bickering so I will bow out now. If you want to continue with your constant negative post go argue with some of the other people you have irritated on this thread. You are the type of person I really try to avoid being around in my personal life. There is just too much negativity in this world. What is wrong with you? Lets let this post die off. Go back and read this whole thread and it seems like a lot of talk about people with an Anti agenda but no one is really on here fighting for that. There is a lot from you defending yourself and your beliefs though. You are the one who made the statement that some people on this site look forward to that type of news. I have a hard time believing even someone who is completely Anti-Gun would ever wish this to further their agenda. Do you really believe people on this site were happy when they heard 20 children were killed? let me know your answer? Talk about exploiting a situation. How many post have you made on this topic since it started? I have already stated I have received numerous private messages from people on this subject. In everyone of them I am told to keep at it with" you "and that this is your M O and to be honest you are not painted in a very good light. This thread was moving in a positive direction lets keep it that way. Go find something else to do today. You have spent the better part of this past weekend on here trying to drive home your point and I think you have alienated a lot of people. In spite of this i wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and hope you have a happy and healthy new year., I am a bowhunter 100% I do not gun hunt but I absolutely have no problem with anyone that does and I am all for the 2nd amendment.

Have a good Chritmas Tughill. I am sure we could sit down and have a cool conversation about hunting. We both share that passion. I am not happy with some of my post and sitting behind a computer trying to have these types of conversations is not the best way of going about it.

Well I am just so done with this. So much negativity here. Looks very apparent to me that Doc has dug a pretty big hole for himself. I thank everyone who has sent me private messages with your support. I will say say what you all said is very true. These moderators don't like what they hear and its just one post after another of them trying to stick together and wear you down, ex. We will ban you from this site if you keep it up. I even had one tell me tonight that even though one of his friends was being very negative with me it was because I provoked him. Amazing that grown men will sit here for hours on this site just trying to push their agenda on us over and over again. If you surround yourself with positive energy you are usually positive same goes for negative energy and man has that been proven here.

Even when you are wrong you just will not accept it. Keep fighting to prove how right you are.

Well I am 44 years old and i have been hunting deer for 28 years so taken 8 bucks that are over 125 does not seem that hard to believe . I have pics of all of them and nothing to prove to . I know people who have taken alot more than 8 P&Y bucks. Anywhere? I have friends in the the midwest that kill P&Y every year. Its not that uncommon out there. My bucks score between 133 and 151 for the record. Did not want to make a big deal out of it but thought it was a good way to show the guy with the men are better attiude thats not the case.

Yeah I guess Doc having the opinion that people on this site wish for such horrific news is ok but what ever you do dont make any personal attacks. Thats not allowed. Makes so much more sense now. Thanks for clearing that one up.

Wow are you really that out of touch. Sorry I did not respond sooner but I was out today living my life not sitting at the computer all day like a few of you overachievers. I never brag about the bucks I shoot. In fact I keep the information about the bucks I shoot pretty much to a small select group of friends beause I have delt with this same exact male ego nonsense before. I have never put a pic of any of the bucks on this type of website and have never entered them in P&Y because I do not need the attention. I am not saying I am against someone who does just not my thing. I brought it up to sits in trees in response to his sexiest and condescending post to me where he tried pulling the men are superiour to woman crap. Apprently your a liitle slow and did/could not pick up that in his post so what better time to let him know that I have killed bigger bucks than him than after a sexiest post like that. Now you and your highy intellicual friend from Tug Hill want to think I shot them High Fence or that I am lying even better. Great!
