  1. Well I am not looking at net score. I never have any of my deer officially scored because I do not agree with the whole deduction thing{ they grow it scores in my book} but thats for another post. I have not been an official measurer but have measured many good bucks over the years. We are not that far off. I think he is 21 inside spread and also has a few points off his bases that would add up to 5-7 inches in my opinion.
  2. Well his beam was 24 last year. I can tell its longer this year. His G2 was 11.00 last year and you are giving him a spread of 18 inches this year??? Short Brows 18 inch spread Somebody inject some sense in this post please He would of grossed more than 143 that last year. 63 inch shed on his weaker side
  3. G-man he is 5.5 this year. Hate to disagree with you but his right side shed last year scored 63 and that is his weaker side. He is definitly bigger this year. Short Brows??
  4. I have a three year history with this buck . I passed him as a really good 6 pt when he was 2{ no brow tines}. I have lots of trail cam pics of him and his right side sheds from the last 2 years. He is not a big fan of trail cameras. I can honestly say that any time during the season I had a pic of him looking at the cam he never came back to that spot again or at least as long as I ran a cam there. I have now been putting my cams up 8-10 ft and he still noticed the cam in the 2nd pic. Only deer out of everyone that went by that one to see the cam. I am thinking he is a solid mid 150's 8pt. I know it takes alot to get there for an 8 but he might have it ?

  6. 1st let me say I think he is a nice 8pt for NY. I did forget to give him the one beam measurement but we all know he is no where near 4.5 for anything but the 1st circumference. i also think he has 7-8 inch brows and 8 -9 inch G'2s/ Any deer that I have killed or had pics from and then found the sheds the tine legth is always less than I thought it was from the pic. There is an 8 I am gonna be after starting next week here in NY who I have a 3 year history with. I think he is pushing the upper 150's this year. I have pics of him last year and you would think his G'2s are 13 but I found his one shed and its just at 11. The same thing from 2 years ago. Always fun to debate score. Hopefully Gino kills him and then there will be no debate
  7. Could you post a pic of your deer? would love to see it
  8. Cam was $350 . It takes a nice pic also has no visable led's. Reallly cool getting text pics of deer from cam. Cam is made to hold a python lock and is also password protected. Another feature which I never thought about is if anyone everd did steal the cam I will probably have some pics of them doing it. Hope it never happens but nice to know at least they will never be able to use the cam because of the password protection. I own another Covert I purchased a few years ago and that is a good cam also.
  9. Well you usually have to pay any of the cam companies a montly fee just for having the service. The monthly fee covers nothing. You then purchase payment plans based on the amount of pics you want to pay for. So I guess there is a $15 per month fee for the text/pics you receive but that is it. It is for unlimited text and email pics sent from the camera to you.
  10. There are so few 8pts in any st record book that hit 140 yet alone 150. Maybe I am mistaken but I do not think he is anywhere near 150. if he had 10 brow tines{which I do not think he does} and then 10 inch G'2s{which i do not think he does} and then had 6inch G'3 lets give him 23 inch beams and a 20 inch spread you are at 95 inches. That is the most you could possibly have with this deer at this point in the measurements. Now add up your circumference measurements and even if you gave him 4.5 inches at every one }even the last one between g3 and tips which he is not even close to having that kind of mass} you have 36 inches of mass. 95 + 36 = ? Tell me where you get another 20 inches of antler?
  11. Just purchased a Covert Black opps cam. No monthly fees. You purchase an ATT sim card and buy basic texting plan/ $15-$20 for unlimited texts. You do not need to have ATT just as long as there is ATT service where you put the cam out. You can get text or email{ or both} of pics sent to you as they are taken . Thats it. Very simple. I have looked into other plans and were always too much money. Monthly service fees plus you had to pay extra if you went over a certain amount of pics. This is $15 per month for me I can get one pic or 1,000 pics for $15
  12. 150?. it takes a really good 10 pt to hit 150 and an 8 pt would need 5 inch brows 12-13 inch G'2s 10 inch G'3s 24-25 beams plus lots of mass.
  13. Nice buck but I have scored a few 140 inch 8pts and he is not that big. G'3s look like they are 5--6 inches at best. I would put him at 133-135.
