I hunted state land this past season. Not another stand anywhere in the area that wasn't mine. Went out and checked it in January and the bottom half of the ladder was gone, leaving the seat and top half suspended in the air. Ticked me off pretty good.

I don't see the advantage of having that over a regular 30-30? I don't see how it is a better alternative to an AR? It doesn't even compare except for the fact that it is black and has rails. You would have to go John Wayne status and work that lever in a shoot out. LOL.

Yea.. With mine it looked like they actually dug it up a bit during late bow season. Just a small little piece probably 3 foot by 3 foot. The rest was untouched, with the tips of the clover and chicory chomped on. The forage oats were done for. Ate a good 8 inches off the tips the whole way through.

Same here. The forage oats and clover are mowed down and have been since late fall. They haven't been digging for the brassica at all.

270 wsm. Short mag has a real nice flat trajectory and can reach out and touch somethin' easily. Not to mention it shoots a solid 300 fps faster than a traditional 270 round. I had one in rem 700 and loved it. Thing was a cannon.

Just lick your finger and rub it on the lens for short term. Kind of an on the fly method but it works pretty good.
