I thought i heard a bird early but it could have been the geese in a nearby field that really started making noise . I was excited to try out some camo and boots in the colder weather ,both worked well.

Been up since 1 , couldn't sleep and got out of bed at 1:30 to make sausage and eggs. The plan is to be on the road at 3 and then a 2 hour drive to my spot.

The guys who got shot have a good idea who did it , not sure if he has been contacted yet . He apologized then fled the scene.

Levi morgan has shot every big animal in the Americas and they were all shot with a mechanical . 99.9 percent of the time its the shot and not the broadhead.

I use my headlamp on the way in , no turkey is worth the risk ,turkey hunters seem to have more bad eggs then the big game crowd ,at least from the stories i hear about trespassing and people chasing after birds.

How does this happen ? You have to be so close to the target to make a successful shot .

I have neighbors and i wish i didn't . I'm not the kind of guy that will dump chemicals in the ground just to step back and feel good about myself but at least i cut my lawn and pick up garbage that blows in. There just is not enough good people left to have only good people living around us anymore.

I probably wouldn't hunt if it was running around in the desert taking long shots.
