  2. Grab a bow and shoot them oct 1st
  3. My 93 chevy had 293k on the original drive train when I sold it . That was just a crudely fuel injected 350 which have always been bulletproof. Another engine that often get over looked from that era was the straight 6 300 ford used to use.
  4. We have a very small 2 bedroom house so we didnt want to invest that kind of coin . I did have transfer switches installed so we can just plug the house into a portable and switch from line to generator . We have city water so our sump has a water powered backup sump ,I still had the sump powered by the generator though.
  5. That's cool ,the worst most famous truck is also the world's ugliest truck LOL
  6. Theres enough variations of trucks these days to keep everyone happy it seems.
  7. Archer was practicing at school to get a job at jerkmans custom grips , he put glue on paper and dumped glitter over it.
  8. What if you want the gas mileage of a vehicle from this millennium ?
  9. We manufacture the parts that get shipped to the assembly plants ,hoods, roof, doors, deck lid ,lift gates ,fenders ,body sides, internal structures.Ford buffalo stamping plant.

  12. I think I'm going to be using my 05 cavalier this year .
  13. Jeep wrangler was supposed to be all aluminum, so much that the tooling was built for aluminum, only to find out they couldn't source any aluminum.
  14. Collision shops are still clueless as of how to work with it. Cost drives everything, you can be certain people are hard at work figuring out a way to repair it.
  15. Eventually all the truck will be aluminum. The only reason they arnt now is because ford has a lock on all the aluminum. Chevy will be next ,at least as of last year they will be next .
  16. I think they come off the assembly line dropping rust. They use inferior steel to help increase profit per unit .
  17. Some people enjoy the bed sides flapping in the breeze . Dont judge
  18. Why would you possibly need seats that message you?
  19. Colt is prepared to offer you a multi million dollar contract ,the only stipulation is you must walk 250 yards into the dark woods to sign the contract , your move . LOL
  20. My buddy works in the financial department for GM in detroit ,he was saying that legacy employees are really throwing a wrench into the works ,he was saying when pensions were calculated people weren't living as long . So they didnt factor innthe extra expenses . Pensions aren't a thing anymore for people hired after a certain date so eventually over time it will free up capital.
  21. I usually see a dollar figure per hour for each worker . I think it's just a number they can rely on more then percent of unknown profit. Again this is super far from my wheel house ,I'm just kind of half assed repeating what I hear or read in the news letters.
  22. This article says 5 percent ,we were told 8 percent . I have no way of truly figuring it out ,I'm not smart enough to know exactly what numbers to work with.
  23. 8 percent of the auto industries expenses is worker salary
