Theres not nearly the the amount of intrusion with duck hunters as there is with people who hunt deer with a gun.

Incentives is a good idea but will just lead to people scamming the system. Everyone feels they are owed something these days.

Wear the masks that are proven not to prevent anything. Its aggravating at this point.

If I had to choose between crossbow or gun early it would be crossbow ,gun hunting would completely lock down the woods for the majority of the season . Between the numbers of guys in the woods and the tactics that gun hunters use would really make things worse overall.

It's no secret that I'm a bow first guy . Gman is correct on bow hunters not doing the job of sportsman and limiting the population first . The couple guys that I bow hunt with have no issue with shooting doe while bow hunting . Doe are plentiful and delicous.

You kill some dandys with that 60 pound bow. Makes me think it's more the operator and not the tool.

5 fps second difference between 70 and 60 ,your t rex arms are hurting you more then the poundage.

From the research I did before buying one ,the new Marlins are not as dependable as the old ones . I didnt buy a Marlin so can not confirm . I was at gander looking for a 45 70 ,they had a 45 70 marlin and a 30 30 Henry and I went with the henry . It's been solid since day 1. Henry was not offering the side gate when I bought one ,it actually prefer the tube over the side gate.

My work forces you to wear the mask that they make and they're roughly 3x thicker then the masks you can wear when they are required , summer time it gets to 100 degrees on the hot days ,they are brutal. Like you said ,it feels so good to not wear one.

My work just posted something about wearing a mask on company property and practice social distancing ,in addition to eating lunch only in the designated areas .

They"re not masks ,they're force fields or a sign that you're compliant .
