  1. I wouldn't sweat it for now. If you own the land, saw the mofo down. If not, get a pole saw and trim it up nicely and you should be fine.
  2. 2 packs of 100gr Standard Slick Tricks. Unopened, untouched $50 shipped

    ugh?!?1?!?

Deflection of the arrow is a possibility. BUT, you need to investigate as thoroughly as possible. Hopefully you find a clean arrow! You own the situation now.................
  4. Keep it up, you'll be promoted to a moderator.
  5. Ever see the damage a bear can do to a corn field? Holy Kielbasa...............................
  6. Not a wish, it's just time to move on.
  7. As others have said, this thread smells fishy, very fishy. Come on OP, stand up for yourself HERE if you expect anybody to take this seriously and heed your warning.
  8. Come on shawn, give it a rest on deerpassion. You'll have someone else to ride soon enough.
  9. HEY JOE!! Happy Birthday kid........out in the bush this morning? You can finally start to learn how to drive a car. Be careful, don't burn any more up!! You'll have to set some hay bales up to practice parallel parking.........................grin Have a good day.
  10. He was only carrying it to a likely ambush spot to try and catch a squirrel.
  11. I've never seen one alive, in person either. Neat to know the critters are there, watching over me.
  12. Click on the picture, it's a 13 second video.
  13. I have never seen one alive. My buddy had one land on his SHOULDER in the dark early in the morning a few years ago. He didn't know WTF so smacked it and it died! Ooops...... We looked at it and also figured that's what that was also. Cool little critters. I have hunted these pines (where the pic was taken) for 20 years now. Often times I hear this strange sound that is similar to a bull frog but very quiet. I can't really explain the sound perfectly until I here it again this fall. I know it ain't a frog because I've heard it in very cold temps so I'd bet these are also flying squirrels making the sound?? I've never seen hide nor hair of them, the sound starts just at dusk in the evening and moves from tree to tree but you can't see the maker. I always was intrigued (I love that word!) by the sound. Rocky's kin?????
  14. It's 11.35 or so at night. I had another video of the same critter another night but I deleted it........oops. Red squirrel, at night? Nawwww. Flying squirrel?
  15. Hell no, you can't hunt and be to work by 7:30am. Skip it............... RELAX, you have a ton of time and the best ain't even until November, IMO.
  16. Congrats! A 7mm-08 did the job, cool. What bullet? How many shots? Funny thing, on a thread earlier this week someone posted up a pic of a 800lb bull elk and you shoot a 550lb bull MOOSE? Somebody's scale is fibbing. Grin.......... Let's see some pics!!!
  17. I did some work last night in a local Chevy dealership and was eye balling the new rigs.........damn nice looking. Congrats DW.
  18. They sure should do it here in NYS. Archery, ML and gun season. For gun season, make the damned hunter orange mandatory and THEN give us the extra 30 minutes on the front and back of the day. I guess for now I'm just damned thankful for getting rifle use in Ontario County...........................
  19. My view? Round IS a shape...............grin Seriously, good luck in your quest for good health. I've knocked off a few pounds in the past year, mostly due to a health scare that I'm doing better will but will never be completely clear of, Barrett's Esophagus.
  20. Still thinking about a trailer? My buddy has one for sale in Ontario County. I took some pics today........$300 takes it. PM me if your interested and want pics.
