You said a mouthful. There is no comparable scope at that price range. Relatively speaking a PST is a very reasonably priced scope for what you get. I also have a 2 x 7 as mentioned and it is another great scope. They are definately worth the money, I just meant that I am no millionaire so 600 bucks hurts a little so the only thing that would have made the scope better is that it was free!!!!

This is a 7.62 x 39 in TSX quartering away. You can see the vitals, also hit front away shoulder and disintegrated it. Nasty for a 7.62 round....

I used a Vortex PST 2.5-10 on my 30.06 and it is the cat's meow. Illuminated retical, clear glass couidn't be happier except it's 600 bucks...

Last year,I shot a 180 pound buck with Hornady 165 graid SST at a full trot and he moved exactly 18 inches, straight down. Two days later I shot a 150 pound doe, through a 6 inch tree at dusk which went through the tree, ten feet further and then through the deer double lung and heart out the other side. She ran 75 yards. At twenty dollars or less a box I don't think I need to find another bullet.
