".....is there a benefit to switch to the carbon?" Carbon doesn't bend like aluminum, so it is slightly more consistent. I made the switch last year with the newer bow, I feel like I have better consistency at longer range's but that is only an opinion. Carbon arrows have made significant imrovements in their quality over the last few years, the biggest to me was the increase in weight, although there are plenty of light carbon arrows on the market. I prefer a heavier arrow. Like Steve said, aluminum is cheaper.

Long Island Field Trial
Doewhacker replied to GrouseHunter's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
Just an update for my fellow dog guys, Gus came home with a Prize 3, scored 86. He is "gun sensitive" but did very well despite that, untill the track that is. The Retriver club was running a test at the same time and in the same spot as us so having gun blast's going off when he was set to do the track was the worst thing for him. It was frustrating because the track portion was his best part in training. He had his tail tucked and was in no shape for any thing when it was his turn. The rest of the field did well, day one saw 6 NA prize one, 2 prize 3, and 2 no prize, day two had 4 NA prize one and the UT dog got a prize 3. I think every one had a blast, I know I did. -
Thats how it is by my house too for some reason? We have been pulling them off of the kids and dog from the yard even, what a pain it is to deal with ticks!
-
I got that Sawyer stuff last year because of you Geno and it works great! I spray down and have yet to have any ticks on me when I use it. Steve863 buy some if you go any where with ticks like hiking...it flat works.

Haven't had to recoat any thing as I have the new one but they do make rubber roof specific products that you can buy through any camper dealer. They also have products to clean the roof before you reseal which you may want to do? I'm sure the stuff you found will work just fine, I remember my grandfather slopping that stuff on his camper....ahh memories

WNY you just saved me a lot of typing...thanks! Its the same where we are, astro turf field and for what? We don't have AC for the little kids and it gets hot in there, but we have every sport and astro turf and we live in the country where farm boy's and girls are used to dirt. And why on earth does a Superintendent need to make 200-300+K a year? As a local politician said yesterday, we don't have a income problem in NY, we have a spending problem. -
Yes it wasn't me and I won't do it again..haha Yes I sold it last year to buy the camper and I am happy I did. Some day when I have more time to ride I will most likely get back into it and there is a strong possibility it will be on a Busa but we'll see. I think you and BurmJohn should do some runs together and send me the footage..import vs domestic, I love it!

I think you need some sweet stickers on that thing so every one knows its fast...

Supra's are one of the few car's that put out that much power with out having alot of problems, there is a short list of car's that I would think that would be capable of with standing 600-800 hp with out doing massive work to them. I used to figure I could handle just about anything up to 600 hp with out too much trouble on the bike, after that you would need some work to keep up with a powerfull car like your's. Not that I ever broke any speed limits or laws or any thing..purely hypotheticaly speaking of course. I do miss the Busa, especially with the nice weather and sweet car vid's like you guys have done, oh well, I'll go peddle my bicycle instead! lol

Whats up with boots only lasting a couple of years?? I have a pair of Rocky's that are light weight that sprung a leak already with in two years of having them...bastards! I am considering a lightweight pair of Rubber boots but it sounds like they are no better than the regular boots. I do have a pair of heavy Rocky boots that are I think 1200gram that have lasted me at least ten years so I guess it depends on if you get lucky with how long they last.
-
And then what, 1/4 mile, top speed run...9/10 mile... ??? ? I'm sure you can find a guy with a properly built Busa to loose to...lol JK!
-
So if you can look it up like any one else why would you pose the question to begin with? Sounds like you were attempting to start something with out knowing the regs to me. In the end it makes you look silly. And also sunrise varries across the state so it may have been one time for you and another for some one else. :
-
Geno how much HP do you think you will end up with? Sounds nice.
-
With in a few minutes of 550, but remember in the spring season you can shoot a half hour before sunrise. And congrats to the young man on his Turkey!
-
Usually for me its been good before fly down and then only untill maybe 630-700, then its the dead zone untill @930. 8-9 is breakfast time..lol And when in doubt....take a nap!

Well have you been out for late morning till noon yet? I would also try sitting down and calling lightly for say a half hour at a clip, sometimes Tom's run silent. And don't be afraid to ignore the fields and search the woods by walking and calling trying to locate the right one. We have done better later in the morning in some spots and also better in the second half of the month. Thats if you don't mind hunting in hotter weather and lots of bugs of course. Last weekend my brother struck up a Tom at 11am and worked him in, till his daughter moved and spooked him at 60 yards. You never know when you will find one...

2003 Honda VTX 1800S

Yeah, that's what I figured you guys would say. Probably the right thing to do in the long run when one stops to think what a chick magnet can lead to. You know what I mean. step 1-Chick magnet attracts girl. step 2-Girl disconnects magnet. step 3-Girl firmly attaches ball and chain around the neck of the guy. LOL And that is how I came to not own a motorcycle anymore...lol -

Thats easy, the bike comes first. You can always find another chick, but the chick magnet is harder to replace. -

Its all about leverage and pure rage when you have to pick a bike up that fell over, adrenallin will turn most men into the hulk when the time comes. I found that out a coupe of times with mine when I had it and the kick stand didn't go down all the way when I was dismounting. Turns out you can catch a falling bike swear and lift all at the same time. ;D -

Nice bike, tell your buddy I called him a sissy for not buying it. Better safe than sorry. What kind of mileage does it get? It is a chick magnet for sure. (I'm trying to help you sell it) -
I have seen a mix of some places going up to as much as $4.15 and others going down to $3.97. This is where we get the screws turned on us, the slow decline.

To far for me, but I would add that it is Navhda testing season so if anyone is interested in a type of dog or even just want's to see dog's work, look up Navhda and find a test in your area. Its a treat to watch dogs work. I am running my dog Gus on the 21st at my local chapter in the NA test, and we have 10 NA dogs for day one, I think 5 for day two and one UT dog, can't wait! -
I second that, I use a fold back model and love it.

I was reading how some of the market is "run" by computers, now that is scary! They (stock market co's.) let the computers trade for them and that is part of what led to a sell off.
