she really likes the grapefruit shandy as well. orange not so much. berry shandy to her is just ok. i'm not really a fan of any but if i had to choose it'd be between the lemon and grapefruit.

Steuben County ny (192 acres) for sale
dbHunterNY replied to Geno C's topic in Land For Sale, Lease, and Requests
if someone were looking it seems like a nice enough spread. too far for me. i'm out in eastern NY. FYI QDMA is the organization and not the practice. -

the answer is all of them but yes Golden Nugget is probably going to get a pass and King Sue takes precedent over the rest. there's only so much room in the fridge. i might need another fridge.

it's thirsty thursday. the fridge by far isn't empty but i'm a sucker for beer. so many choices and not sure what to pick!

Live From The Woods 2019 Turkey Edition

Burris speed bead (fast fire mounted between receiver and buttstock). if it dies i can still see through it and use the stock bead at the end of the barrel. -
happy birthday

bock beers aren't usually praised but i've had handful that were really good when i traveled. best one here in the Northeast that i remember is one from Narragansett.
-
i don't know as if i've ever had beer from Empire.

nice choices for readily available ales @Fletch. you pounding them quick? it can be hot and stuffy on a plane. i'll vouch that neither one is good "chilled".

only seed from Antler King I've used in Honey Hole. it's a blend of brassica, turnip, and filler rape seed. it was a pull plot to get deer along a particular path in front of my cam to survey what was going through the creek bottom. didn't hunt it really. deer didn't touch it until the very end of and mostly after the season. then they hammered it. it worked but haven't used it again. DeerAg seed is pretty good. Not sure if George is still kicking around on here.

New property/ First food plot ever
dbHunterNY replied to 607 HUNTER's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
if you can hook onto the smaller honeysuckle with an ATV or the rest of it with a truck or small tractor then it'll pull up. if you don't get the roots it'll try like heck to come back. chain few times wrapped around the base and hooked tight with a bit of length to whatever you're pulling with works well enough. -

i wish we could burn more but people kind of frown upon it up this way for some reason. also there's a burn ban pretty late into the food plot season unless you're doing brassicas or something later for the fall. turn up the soil around it though for a few passes and there's not much worry on a calm day. -
in saratoga there's tons of pubs with craft beer but not many that have a real nice list. for breweries or store locations there's Durthers and Artisanal Brew Works in Saratoga. Racing City too but I haven't had anything from them to know if it's good. troy has Brown's and Rare Form breweries. albany has the albany pump station. for albany brew pub location Albany Oyster and Ale House has a good list often. ....forgot about the tipsy moose in troy and latham.
