  1. I'll put some out soon. Probably this weekend.
  2. 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/4 cup heavy cream, half can (7oz) of sweetened condensed milk. Mix that well in a large bowl. Then fold in a whole container (8oz) of coolwhip and about a cup or more if your harvested berries. Then put that in a Keebler shortbread ready pie crust and then into the fridge to chill.
  3. so a while ago i posted about my parents farm and neighboring landowners forming a qdm co-op with direction from qdma. looks like it's going to happen. everyone is signed up at this point. now just have to have another meeting to lay out guidelines and initial startup details with the others. i'll give another update when we've had the next meeting.
  4. i still like the simplicity of fixed pins. fixed pins with centering pin guard in peep instead of peep allows you to see the trajectory of your arrow and if you'll hit a branch or something. however, it's not nearly as precise as dialing in yardage. if you're in the treestand leave it set for 20 or 25 yards and shoot it, holding a touch low or high to cover many yardages. if you've got time to dial then do it.
  5. the 3D bow (60lb PSE Bowmaddness 3G) I've been using has one on it. I've always shot fixed pins. I've setup the bow for both 3D and as a backup hunting bow so I was particular. i got the HHA with the dial instead of the slider. i think it's more precise, easier and smoother to adjust, and it'll incur less wear using gears opposed to slider part on part friction. It has a .010" fiber pin and think it is plenty bright enough but allows me to aim very precise. I also got the bigger 2" housing and shoot a 1/4" peep. it allows more light in and fits a more of the animal in the sight window/housing to get you on target quicker. quiver mounting was a little difficult but Tight spot makes a nice bracket that mounts between the sight and bow riser. it's got multiple holes to mount your quiver where you need it.
  6. Shot last night again and ended up with a 312/330. There were some targets like a buffalo that was out there at probably 55 yards but most were reasonably closer.
  7. Got a good recipe for those if you're not lactose intolerant. Lol
  8. I've seen a few groups here. Well over a dozen.
  9. Most ATVs are ridden hard. Good advice above. Don't just have them start it and let it idol. Drive it if you can. It'll tell if it truly runs. If the plastic is faded it means it's been left outside unless it's older. If it's older then keep in mind parts are more expensive. I had an 85' quad racer until a couple years ago and just an air filter was $40.
  10. Be careful with right of way stuff like others have said. It's true that land doesn't go down in value but some land isn't worth much and never will be. This falls into that category but it's still land and can be useful. Make sure access will be there to stay and bigger equipment could fit through.... 18' should be enough to fit a 6 row combine head through or a bigger discbine mower. Depends on where it's at but those prices the realtor gave are on the high side of fair. They'd be more accurate if you had just a small amount of road frontage. That's my opinion.
  11. A regular hacksaw by hand works well enough. I just use a knife at the joints to separate everything.
  12. Don't have a smooth bore for mine so not me.
  13. There was a page "kill Kendall jones" on face book trashing her very bad. I along with many others I'm sure reported the page and had it taken down.
  14. Muck boots for me in different weights but if I was more into big mountains like a sheep hunt it'd be something different. I've had my mucks for several years now with no issues.
  15. Means they're nice and healthy. Good to hear it. Weather this season has been good for getting hay in but I feel like everyone's short this year just a little.
  16. I don't shoot a 300 often as it's too expensive compared to others I've got. I will say that at 50 yards you can pull back off the shoulder a bit and you won't get hemoraging into the shoulder too bad at all.
  17. Lol a mag with muzzle brake or ports is loud as heck. Nice add-on though.
  18. I shoot rage mechanicals right now. Every head known to mankind all have pros and cons. they will all work if you do your part. If they didn't companies would be out of business and not making them. In the end you use whatever you're confident will work so it's one less thing to think about.
  19. Done not just shanks but the whole hind quarter.
  20. Have avoided them to just graze two. No damage and they barely felt it. My relatives though haven't been as lucky. My uncle was stopped completely and had one plow right into his driver side door.
  21. That's some level ground. We had to dig down at least a couple feet at one end.
  22. Yea ulmer edge seem better. Maybe some day I'll try one or the other.
  23. Have you guys always had pass throughs with the shwackers? Have you ever not had a pass through and if so how was the blood trail? That's my only reservation is the small entry hole and thus probably a light blood trail.
  24. I don't really do it. I spray just about everything except my gun and bow.
  25. Not just from a treestand either but on the way to it. You could be standing on a side hill, down hill, up hill,.... It'll all change your shooting from canting your bow to form like from a stand.
