  1. Speaking of Cell Cameras, what do we have here? We have outfitted local ECO's with texting cell cameras. Already paid dividends in Washington County with tickets being issued. Pictured here are ECO M. Krug and some of our Branch Board Members making the presentation. We've also gotten them a couple anamatronic robo deer. No pictures to share for those but if you see them they will be a within a nice shot from the roadside. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  2. That's all that a couple of my wife's cousins do. They look for the deepest wettest hole around. Their atvs are setup for the mud and not a whole lot else. Didnt know about the snorkel limitations in some states needing it to be factory. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. Topic drifted from folders to fixed blades but yea... I just picked up a Becnhmade altitude in orange. Comes in a kydex holster with S90V steel. Should be arriving in the mail eventually. Cabelas only used for the image. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. i use Google chrome both at work and at home. tapatalk on the android phone. no issues but past couple days i've been not really active much.
  5. nice gun. seems like my browning rifles are all good. levers can be heavy but handle nice.
  6. haven't shot one but i did own a 2007 Gander Mountain TecHunter Elite that looks a lot like that and was made by Bowtech/Diamond. That bow closest resembled the Diamond Black Ice and was a single cam version of this bow. It was a good bow. had some riser flex but shot nice.
  7. looks good. just something i noticed but a lot of radiators mounted on top of the rack have boxes to protect them a bit more on sides and front. front plate is set off the radiator face and has a bit more surface area versus a screen to shield it from mud. also if you're that wet not sure if you want a snorkle kit for the air box or fab up something?
  8. switchback is older tech. not Z7 extreme (shorter bow) but the regular Z7 is a nice bow too.
  9. if a shop is setting you up then you're at the mercy of how the tech does things. still he should have you draw with loop or whatever's needed installed. he'll have you come to a blind anchor that feels repeatable/comfortable. he/she would check that your elbow is positioned right with the portion of your arm between wrist and elbow being inline with the arrow. with long loops to eliminate release and nock pinch they can tie what's called soft nock sets on to give you a nocking point. the soft nock of tied with BCY nock thread can be made longer by tieing knots on alternating sides to work down the serving. it'll kind of look like short section of serving over the normal serving. then your Dloop attaches to the string above and below that.
  10. for anyone who has a kid that's looking into this it's very easy money. due February 10th though so don't wait!
  11. When you have no choice but to work from home on the weekend might as well drink a couple to deal with it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  13. It truly is fun. It's awesome experience for hunters who havent filled boat loads of tags. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. Time is the biggest crux to using one instinctively. You have to develop muscle memory similar to throwing a baseball. Look and shoot dont aim the same. I got pretty good but you really need to keep shooting to be proficient. It added to the fun factor using it for techno hunt league. With the compound it was so precise that we spent more time arguing about what shots didnt register right. Lol Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  15. i have a fry cutter. throw in a whole tater cut and lightly brushed with oil and it's like natural cut fries you get at the county fair.
  16. it cooks faster then anything. turn it all the way up and use a thermometer for burger and other stuff to get a decent char. you can cook anything solid in them. faster and more efficient than an oven and better than microwaving something.
  17. you could always use weights screwed into the back of inserts for more weight so you can use the same lighter heads.
  18. my daughter was the first for both mine and wife's side. princess/heiress if there ever was one. you'll be broken for sure and after seeing my parent's you'll love every minute of it.
  19. i'll agree with the not as accurate for scoring as one might think. lots of upsets but definitely nice to start a league with a small group. careful with taking too much time. had a turtle duck my arrow once. sucker fell right off the log into the water for no shot. in my defense i was using those silly bows Moog uses.
  20. not sure if those unsuccessful are SOL and on their own now or what. Unsure if they should be rolled into the next year's group. same here moving forward; culinary social and then banquet mode. still working out where to have the social with proper facilities and adult beverage friendly.
  21. hard to say. early on when first release guns are always hard to get before they're gone or spoken for. in time you see them kicking around more Python I have to think will be in demand enough. time will tell. gun broker is all over the place with pricing.
  22. so you guys ended with 5 of 8? we got i think 6 of 9. not bad i suppose as a group. not sure of any other branches. wish they could be better. any plans for those unsuccessful?
  23. still doesn't matter. not going to pass unless the governor is trying to save his ass from a $6B budget deficit. reporting says it's in line with other states but i feel like our cost of living is more so beer will be more than other states with higher excise tax.
  24. i bought a Sig P226 Elite Scorpion 9mm for $1200. so a colt revolver isn't necessarily out of the question. it'd be cheaper than msrp on the website though.
