  1. Must be the DEC checks this site, after my post stating I've been waiting two year for a response I recieved a letter from them five days later

  3. Yes it's pretty much standard procedure, with a few exceptions. Open the animal from chest to tail to remove internals. Exception #1 wear the longest pair of rubber gloves you can find. The fat you will encounter is unreal. #2 Bear is excellent eating if cared for correctly in the feild. There body fat will retain heat more so than a deer so it's very important to cool it either by skinning it or by packing the chest cavity in ice as soon as possible and then get it to a cooler.
