    Spend some time reading here. http://www.whitemuzzleloading.com/ Heavy conicals are indeed more than capable of doing the job at 300 yds - if the shooter has spent the time to do his. Research the loads used to wipe out the buffalo herds - much at longer ranges. It wasn't a 150 gr powder, 2oo gr bullet.

    Shooting a fawn is terrible. But a 1.5 or 2.5 is OK - the equivalent of a 8 yo kid and a 13 yo teen? You guys are funny sometimes. So lamb and a 30 lb piglet for the grill are off limits too?

    He has a right to his opinion. A+E has a right to choose who works for them. We all have can choose what if any TV shows to watch. So what is the problem and why is this even close to newsworthy?

    No. But: 1. Don't shoot many bucks anyway. 2. AR - would fill every antlerless tag I have with a BB in protest - they get a pass now. 3. Will never take a deer to a check station.

    Snowmobilers want an earlier oping if anything. They aren't giving up any time and have a huge lobby.

    Hasn't worked so far and evidence shows it contributes to disbursement. Fact is shoot on site has not eradicate them and can make trapping more difficult.

    BH209 requires the hottest primers. If anything I would try a different batch of primer - maybe those are bad.

    What primer are you using? Can you easily twist an 1/8 drill bit thru the flash channel?

    With hunters you will still have the recovery problem - which no one seems to want to address. Guess the plan is to just ignore the neighbors and just trespass to recover.

    Not a few - ONE. And no one is saying anyone is lying - just honestly mistaken. There are more reports of sightings in the NE than in the states with documented wild populations.
