  1. Oh believe me, after this I will be learning how to reload!  I just got off the phone with Dicks in NJ and they said NY'rs cant buy ammo in NJ?!?  Am I crazy, but I think thats completley false.  As long as I have my license and gun permit why cant I buy in NJ??

  2. Hey Guys-

I tried to start a club for the city guys but didn't receive enough interest.  I just leased some land with my buddies up in 7P, but was also looking to join a club that was established, had land with lots of acreage and possibly in different areas.  Does anyone know of any good clubs that need more members that match the above criteria?  I'm ultimately saving for my own land, but I am getting married in October so that has been put on the back burner for the past year.  Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

  3. I wanted to get one as well but wasn't too sure what I would need to get.  I normally get the super sportsman, but if I wanted to get the lifetime for all my hunting I would need to buy the Sportsman lifetime ($765), Bowhunting lifetime ($235) and ML lifetime ($235) right?  Also, don't we normally pay i think like $10 for a doe tag, do we still need to do that separately?  If thats the case I may get the sportman this year and the bow and ML next year.  Its hard for me as Im getting married in October, so money is tight just as it is for you Elmo.  Congrats on the baby btw! (I know I planned it bad as oct 11th is right at the start of the season!)Thanks in advance

  4. Yeah it smells, but I like it. When I was a kid there was a guy who lived on our street who was a stone cold prick. If we played in the street he would yell at us and call the cops, if we were too loud he would yell at us and call the cops, if our ball went into his yard he would run out and take it...if we breathed he would yell at us and call the cops..... One hot....hot.. hot summer day we smeared limburger cheese on the carpets, under the drivers seat and passenger seat of his car. (my hands smelled for a week) Long story short, by the end of the summer he had a new car. Miserable old prick...

LMAOOO, thats hysterical!  Sounds like he def deserved it!

  5. At camp one of our favorites is Limbuger cheese with onion and hot mustard on rye bread (no seeds). For the stand it is bologna, extra sharp cheddar and hot mustard.

Limbuger smells like poop....we used to mess with our pledges in college with that crap

  6. most of us support a hunters choice to hunt with an xbow during regular, and late season. Also most of us support disabled hunters easier access to crossbows. I do not support them for the able bodied hunter during archery.

I agree with you.  I personally love my bow and prefer to hunt with that over a rifle.  But for the disabled, I do not see a reason why it shouldn't be allowed as in my opinion allowing a ML is far more of an advantage.

  7. Oh gotcha, yea, it just really makes no sense to me.  I can understand if it by some chance gave you an unfair advantage or was more dangerous than other means, but simply put it just isn't..lol.  I feel bad cause my dad will just come hunting with me now and he just hangs out.  I was hoping they were going to pass the bill for 2013 and I was going to surprise him with a CB.

  8. So since you can hunt with a bow or ML during bow, how in the world is a crossbow an unfair advantage?  Or can someone explain to me why this would be considered illegal?  It just honestly makes no sense to me and I would love to understand the logic here.  So its safer to let someone shoot a gun from a car (which is most likely on a road) than it is to allow someone to use a crossbow which would have the distance or power of a ML??

  9. I support Crossbows and here is my reasoning....will I use them?  No.  But my father has hunted his entire life and absolutely LOVES nature and being out there in the NY cold.  He has a bad back now due to a work accident where he can no longer pull a bow or handle the recoil on a high powered rifle.  A crossbow would be a perfect weapon for him.  Why should he not be allowed to enjoy his favorite past-time due to an injury??
