I know it is illegal to bait in NY. My question is I recently got married and in the marriage apparently the wife's family has about 30 acres of unused land up in Sullivan county. We are planning to go check it out next weekend. I would like to put a trail camera up and see if I can get an inventory pic. My question is I wanted to drop something like monster raxx or something so I could get pictures. Would it be illegal to do this,even if it isn't hunting season yet? What would be a better option?
