Happened to me before, I thought my shot was perfect, ran down my stand and I was on my hands and knees following blood for over 8 hours, would have been my first buck and first archery kill. Worst feeling there is. Learn from it and get back out there!

Salamidas jerky juice soak 24 hrs, on racks a lil black pepper and red flake/ cayenne if hot, then dehydrate.

Quick detach 4 arrow on compound, I hang it up if in tree though.

Geno I'm in the same boat I've seen 4 deer and or been out 15-20 morning/ afternoons. Very slow start.

Back in stand, warm breezy. Rubs within 30 yards of this stand went from 3 to 6 in the past few days

When I dove into muzzleloading I bought a used Cva staghorn, threw in two 50 grain pyrodex pellets and a Hornaday sst bullet, it shot three shots in 2 inches, which is plenty good for me. Make sure you clean good soon after you shoot it.

I've seen way above average sign this year 4 scrapes and 15-20 rubs within 3-400 yards. It's crazy that I havnt seen a buck yet. -

I sprayed scrape mate ( code blue) on my boots and the doe I shot monday followed my tracks, she was curious. I got some fresh estrous on here and I'm going to try it this weekend.
