Loworange88 the synthetic stock is very flexible and cheap, the boyds is great though, I also lowered the trigger pull by changing springs. I have just over $400 into this gun with the stock and factory cheap scope. ( which holds it's zero well)
Got my 223 savage axis out to the range today for some ammo testing. had 2 groups under .5 inch at 100 yards.
Top left is federal fusion 62 grain best 3 shot group 3/8th inch.
2nd best remington umc 55gr at .5 inch.
Bottom left is american eagle 55gr
Bottom right is pmc 55
Used adjustable bow off archerytalk, I bought a diamond bow on there for 200 got a new string for 50 an added accesories I had. It shoots just as good as my new hoyt
Since I only have a car right now, I saw legs off and stuff the deer in a body bag, heavy duty ones off ebay works the best and you can just wash then reuse it.
Leave them where they lay, as others said be considerate if anyone else uses the land. I like to leave them right in front of my stand If possible and pick off a coyote or 2.
