Still have about 50 lbs of venison left from last season, made backstrap medallions, Bearded butcher blend seasoning, flour, pan fried in olive oil and a little soy sauce, Caramelized onion and jalapeños.
Took the evening off and drove around, deer are pounding green fields here at 5-5:30. Pretty early. Many areas with no acorns which is rare here. If you find acorns sit on them cause they are pounding the ones they find.
