    Ny, just had 3 doe and a fawn come out at 60, spook but it wasn’t cause of me.

    Crazy, I shot a doe with a broken folded up back leg last year. Sounded like a pirate coming through the woods. No clue how she evaded coyotes for months at least.

    Depends on what we’re shooting, hunting bow? 1” every ten yards. Rifle 1” every hundred.

    I shot two deer with the bow and both fell in sight, but the first time I shot two deer in one sit with the bow, the damn things took the same trail, I tracked the first one That’s was a pass through and wound up at the second deer with my arrow still in it. I found them both eventually and the blood continued from where the first one fell.

    Neither at that range, a 243 will work fine. Either of those calibers work just fine but .308 is still more widely available and there’s surplus. (Did not see you mentioned bear, go .308, 165 grain bullet.)
