What's up guys new guy here from suffolk county. Been hunting for a while but hard for me to get out unless I go alone since none of my friends are into hunting. I have learned from some of my dads friends or older guys from my shooting club but our schedules do not always coincide so I do not get out to hunt as much as I would like. I usually hunt up state. Am def looking for good group to hunt with. And to learn where on the island I can hunt to expand and get the most of my season. Im in for hunting all seasons. Looking forward to learn from all here.

Hey im in the same boat as you I am 28 and just moved to Suffolk and my friends do not hunt either. I have learned from an older generation but our schedules do not coincide all the time. I too am looking to get the most out of hunting each season and I'm looking also hunt in Suffolk County so I do not always have to make those trips upstate.

I am also looking to get into waterfowl hunting. If you want we can learn together. The guy who is supposed to be showing me the ropes has been busy so I do not know when he will get around to it. I have always gone upstate to hunt small and big game but just moved to Suffolk County and want to take advantage of the hunting seasons out here. PM me if your interested.
